chapter 1 -Abigal

My name is Abigal Benson. I'm a straight A sophomore student at George Mason University. I have a mum, dad, and younger sister Meghan who is 14 years of age. Besides my family the people closest to me are my two best friends, Anna and Lindsay, and my boyfriend, Jason, Besides all of these people I don't have any other friends. Probably because of how if I'm not hanging out with my best-friends or Jason, and not on a date with Jason I'm studying 24/7. All for this moment, Ever since my junior year of High School I have studied my butt off to keep an A Average just so I could go to the Oxford Student Program my sophomore year of college. I have always dreamed of going to England and attending Oxford. Ever since my mum had told me about growing up in England where her father was a professor there. So when we were studying England in World Geography and my teacher told us about this exciting opportunity I started caring much more about my grades.

    As graduation came around I was graduating at the top of my class at Oakton High School and was Valet Victorian. After I said my final good byes to High School I was off to George Mason University. This was where i met my best friends and boyfriend freshman year. Anna and Lindsay were my roommates. All I can say was as soon as we met each other we clicked. Same thing was true about Jason. The story of how we met was always a favourite of mine. One night Anna and I were drinking coffee rocking out to her play list while studying for an exam. Lindsay was working extra hours to earn some money to go back to England for fall semester break. Well I guess she forgot to let her mysterious study buddy know this because at 8pm there was a tap tap tap on our door. Anna was fast asleep on her textbook to the left of me so I slowly sat up and opened the door.

   The person standing before me was breathtaking. With his curly blond locks and dazzling blue eyes. He was slightly taller than me and wearing a white polo and tan khaki's.

   I must have looked like an idiot since the next thing I knew Lindsay was chuckling behind hm "Abby you might want to close your mouth before flies get in." I closed my mouth blushing bright red as she slipped into the room. The guy just smiled and held out his hand "Jason, I'm Lindsay's study buddy. And you must be Abby! I've heard so much about you!" 

 " Yea I'm Abby, but I haven't heard a thing about you!"

 "Well we should change that." He winked and let himself in, and the rest was history.

 Now Im still rooming with Anna and Lindsay. They both are morning people unlike me. Anna and Lindsay are able to take a jog around campus, grab break feast at the coffee house Lindsay worked at up until the summer, get changed, and have all their stuff ready before I even lift an eyelid. Also they flip a coin to see who will wake me up. Surprisingly they say i groan and flail when they tried to wake me up. But it seems today is no different. One moment I'm dreaming about Jason and I starting a family together and then the next moment I'm sitting up in bed soaked to the bone shivering.

 "Oh Good Abby your awake!" Anna said throwing my white sundress I wore to the memorial day picnic at my head "Here wear this today, you wanna look good for the Oxford Student Program!" She said clapping like a 9year old.

 I just smiled shaking my head " Just get out you two so I can change!"

"We're going we're going! Come on Anna she's got to pretty her self up for Jason." Lindsay said pulling Anna out of the room.

"IN MY DEFENSE HE IS MY BOYFRIEND!" I laughed as they ran down the hallway.

15 minutes later I was walking out of the room, book bag slung over my shoulder, walking towards the courtyard. When I left the building starting past the courtyard towards the school building I felt an arm slink around my waist. I looked up into Jason's dazzling blue eyes as he planted a kiss on my lips.
