Third Person POV
Addison Bailey, a eleven year old girl with long fawn hair and bright green eyes. She was a very happy girl but always bullied for being over weight, ugly, and a nerd. She never had the courage to stand up for herself because she was too nice and shy, but she didn't care what all the others said about her.
She was walking home from the library since she only lives five blocks away from it. But today she was in a hurry because she promised that she will be home at eight sharp. But she was too into a book she was reading that she lost track of time. Little Addison decided if she took the passage way in the woods because she knew that it would cut the time in half. Then full moon was shining on the dirt path, which helped her out a lot because she didn't have a flashlight on her. She then heard a snap of a twig and she turned around to see what had made the sound. Then something came out from behind a tree which caused Addison to jump in fear. But it was only a deer , she sighed in relief. Their was something wrong with this deer because it dropped to the floor. The eleven year old then ran to the deer and she realized their was huge gash marks on the sides of the deer. The deers eyes were filled with fear, the little girl then began to cry. Addison then felt heavy breathing behind her, she was shaking in fear and she turned around. It was a wolf with red eyes and jet black fur. "P..please d..don't hurt me." She cried. But the next thing she remembered is being pinned down on the floor and claws being sliced against her neck. Everything from there for Addison went black, she laid on the dirt passage way and took her last breath.
Her parents began to worry because it was now ten o'clock. They called the library to see if she's still there but they said she left hours ago. Mr Bailey decided to call his friends at work to help him look for her since they are all cops. They checked all over the neighborhoods and even by the library. Mr. Bailey came up with an idea that she might of gotten lost in the woods because she mostly took that trail even though she wasn't allowed to.
The German shepherds caught a scent and dragged the police officers into the direction where Addison's body was. Mr Bailey's eyes started tearing up and he ran over to his daughters body, he started checking if she had a pulse. Their was only a little pulse but it wasn't enough to keep her alive and they all declared her dead.
(Three days later)
It was Addison's funeral, everyone wore black. A lot of people were their even the people that bullied her. Her coffin was being lowered to the ground and the people that she loved starting throwing dirt on her coffin. Then they started filling in the big hole where she was laying, once they were done people started putting red roses on her tomb stone. People then started leaving one by one but there was a woman that stayed behind. "I'll see you very soon, Addison." Then she left and it was quiet.
(One Year later)
It was the anniversary of Addison's death that was caused by a 'animal attack'. Her parents came by and left her flowers. Then their was no one in the cemetery but yet it wasn't quiet at all. There was a rapid heart beat coming from down below in the dirt.
It was Addison's heart beat.
