The Agreement

Addison's POV

It's been an hour and I'm still sitting in the corner. I finally pulled my head up and Nolan was staring at me. "What are you looking at?" I whispered. He just looked at the ground, "are y..you okay?" He asks. "I'm fine. For now." I whispered. "I'll do anything to protect you, Addison. You just have to trust me." He looked at me. "But will you help protect them or my pack." I whispered. "Anything, anything you want. You just have to trust me." I nodded my head and jumped up and walked over to him. I gave him a hug, "thank you" I cried. It took a little bit he eventually then hugged me back tighter. We broke away and we stared at each other's eyes. But then there was smoke everywhere, Scott then came running towards us coughing. "I thought we had till midnight, Scott." I coughed. Hunters than came in with masks and pulled me by my hair. "GET OFF OF ME." I growled. I digged my claws into the guys leg and screamed in pain, he finally let go of my hair. I ran over to Scott and Nolan. "Come on they took them." I said while lifting the both of them up. I dragged them out the police station to where all the other hunters were. "Wait, you said we have till midnight." I yelled. "Well look who it is, Addison Bailey." Everyone pointed there gun on me and I sat Scott and Nolan down on the bench beside me. "What are you going to do, SHOT ME!!" I yelled the last part. "As wished sweet heart, just for fun." There was red dots all over my body. "Gerard did you forget?" I questioned. "YOU CANT KILL ME." I flashed my violet eyes at him. "Yeah I remember, honey. We used you as a shooting target and we're kind of missing you sweetie." He pointed the gun at me and shot me in the chest. "LEAVE HER ALONE." Nolan yelled. "Awww our little Nolan is defending her. Don't you see you can't be together." Gerard laughed. "She's a monster."

"I'm not a monster, I'm a chimera. The real monster here is you." I growled. "Just let them go, please." Scott begged. "What's going on here?" Someone yelled. "Dad?" "Scott? What's going on here?" He asks. "They are trying to take them." Scott pointed at the two Betas. "How about I just take them to a safer place then here? They will be locked away and they wouldn't be able to hurt people." Mr.McCall said. "That will be better than being here and being threatened." Jiang implied. "Okay so everyone agrees or else all of you are arrested for be armed at a police station." Mr. McCall yells. "Am I clear?" Everyone nodded there heads. The two betas followed Mr. McCall, the girl mouthed 'thank you' to Scott and he nodded his head. They got into the van and they drove away.

I turned around and walked into the police station. I went into the bathroom and looked at my chest, there was a silver bullet. I ripped off my tank top and snapped out my claws so it would be easier to pick out the bullet."UGHH, fuck it's deep." I screamed. Blood was still oozing out from the bullet. "Do you need help?" A voice said. I snapped my head around and it was Nolan. "Ohh hey, yes please." I nodded my head and walked over to him. "Put down the toilet cover and sit on it." I place down the toilet seat cover and sat on it as he instructed. I covered my body with my cardigan because I was embarrassed of my body. He left the room to get supplies of my wound, it was awfully quiet. He finally came through the doors with a box that said 'first aid'. Nolan took out some latex gloves and put them on. He then takes a pair of tweezers.

"Are you ready?" I nodded my head. He went closer to my chest and put the tweezers directly over the wound. He then stared digging into the cut, I closed my eyes tightly but it's nothing I haven't felt before. Then he started pulling the bullet out of the wound, then reached for his other hand and squeezed it. It was finally out and I gasped for air. "Thanks" I breathed out. The wound then healed up in seconds. "Wow." Nolan said while looking at my wound on my chest. "Hey my eyes are up here." I laughed. He blushed, no one has every blushed over me. Maybe he does like me, who knows.

"Anyway Doctor Nolan, how did you know how to do that?" I asked with a smile on my face still sitting on the toilet seat cover. "We..a my dad's a surgeon..a..I guess I've learned a few things from him. I want to be exactly like him." He gave me a half smile. This boy is very awkward, but yet he's very attractive too. "How about we go on a walk?" I got up from the toilet. The cardigan that was wrapped around my body was off now, fuck I forgot I don't have a shirt. "I just need a shirt." I giggled. "Yeah we should..I mean I should we don't want anyone else seeing you in your bra." He stuttered. He's too cute when he stutters. "Here just take my sweatshirt." He lifts it over his head, it also tugs on the shirt underneath which shows his perfectly toned body. "Here." He hands me his hoodie. "Thanks, but aren't you going to be cold?" He shook his head. "Don't worry about me, your the one who just got shot." He smiled. We then walked out of the bathroom and as we're about to walk out the police station.

"Ohh I'm sorry, sweetie." My dad giggled. "Da..Dad?" I stuttered. "Do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar." He stared into my eyes, I have to tell him. I just can't tell him right now. "Nope I just moved here." I said with a fake smile. "You remind me a lot of my daughter." He smiled and looked down to the floor. "She died though."

"I'm .. I'm sorry for your loss." I muttered. "It's okay I just know she's in heaven playing with all the other angels." I started tearing up. "Awwww sweetie, don't cry...everything is all right." He said while hugging me. "I should be get going now I have more cases to be working on." He said while wiping me tears away. "Okay, bye." I walked away and out the police station. Once I was out I sprinted for the woods.

"Addison wait." Nolan yelled while running after me. "Just leave me alone,  Nolan. I need to be alone." I yelled and I started running fast, so he won't catch up. I then reached the edge of Beacon hill and looked over to see the whole town. It looked so peaceful, why did things have to get so bad?

I miss my family, I missed my dad telling me corny jokes and I miss my mom singing to me to make me feel better. Ahh how I miss my moms lullaby it always made me have good dreams. I decided to lay my head on root of a tree and started singing.

"Lullaby, and good night, in the skies stars are bright.
May the moon's silvery beams bring you sweet dreams.
Close your eyes now and rest, may these hours be blessed.
'Til the sky's bright with dawn, when you wake with a yawn." The voice of a Siren really made my voice sound beautiful.

I'll protect you from harm, and you'll wake in my arms." Tears started falling down my face.

"Sleepyhead, close your eyes, for I'm right beside you.
Guardian angels are near, so sleep without fear.

"Lullaby, and good night, you are mother's delight.
I'll protect you from harm, and you'll wake in my arms."

"Lullaby, and sleep tight, my darling sleeping.
On sheets white as cream, with a head full of dreams.
Sleepyhead, close your eyes, I'm right beside you.
Lay thee down now and rest, may your slumber be blessed." I laid down of the fresh, soft grass.

"Go to sleep, little one, think of puppies and kittens.
Go to sleep, little one, think of butterflies in spring.
Go to sleep, little one, think of sunny bright mornings.
Hush, darling one, sleep through the night,
Sleep through the night,
Sleep through the....night." I then fell asleep immediately.
