Promises

      Erens Pov

            Today was mine and armins 8 month anniversary. I decided I wanted. To do something special for him. My alarm went off, i dragged my hand over to turn it off. I rubbed my eyes and sighed. I was kind of stressed. But today i could relax and not worry. Today was about me and armin, just us no one else. I still remember that day.

        *flash back*

                   Mikasa, Arimin and i have been friends for as long as i could remember. It was our senior year. Mikasa and i have grown apart from each other. Ever since she told me she liked me things have been awkward between us. Ive never really felt an attraction to girls as i have towards guys. This has been going on for years. 

                     There was something about armin that drew me towards him. A few years ago, i started getting a crush on him. I never brought myself to tell him, i buried my feelings for him. But, when i saw armin walk into class he looked stunning. He walked over and sat beside of me.

 "hey eren."

"hey armin, nice look." I blushed a little.

"Thanks"

"Could we meet up later? i need to talk to you"

  "Yea, sure"

    *time skip to talk*

  I walk around the corner to where I  told armin I wanted to meet. Knowingly enough he was there. My heart was racing so fast, my palms were getting sweaty. I was about to tell him how I  felt. 

  "Hey eren" he said with a bright smile "what did you want to talk to me about?"

    Here goes nothing.

 "I like you...." shock was written all over his face.

"Really? but I thought you were into girls, I  should have known something when you rejected her feelings."

     Just be straight forward with him.

  "Armin...will you go out with me?"

  "I would love to."

  'that went better than expected'

*flash back over* 

 I was so nervous, i thought i couldn't do it. But if i didn't i wouldn't be with him now. i'm glad i took that chance. As i made my way to the kitchen i noticed that my parents weren't here. Once in the kitchen, i noticed a note on the counter. All it said is that they were going to be out of town for a few days. Perfect. I made myself some pancakes, sausage, and eggs. After i finished i texted armin.

Eren: hey, wanna go out for dinner and a movie at my place tonight?

Armin: sure i would love to, when and where?

Eren: don't know yet, i'll pick you up at 6.

Armin: fine, what do i need to wear though?

Eren: just something casual, but you look good in everything.

Armin: ok, see ya then. 

     After cleaning up the mess i made i picked out an outfit to wear. It was a deep blue t-shirt with a pair of jeans that were snug, but not snug enough to be skinny jeans. After my morning routine, i headed to the book store to get armin some books. Luckily they had what i was looking for. I was getting armin the whole Percy Jackson series. 'what else should i get armin?' Then my mind clicked. 'i'll get him a promise ring.' 

*mini time skip*

  I pulled into armin's driveway and got the bags. I walked up he steps and knocked. As i waited i played around with my hair.
