She was the girl who sat in the corner. The girl that no one talked to.She sat and stared at people.She took in their personalities and the way they talked to each other, which she found odd. School was hard on her, she never had any friends she was just that weird girl. No one really knows who she is. Ironicaly, this story is about her, Shawny to be exact. Shawny was 13, had short black hair, and whats was strange about Shawny is that she had green eyes. This was different since all the kids had dark eyes.People would look at her funny but, she never paided any attention to it. Shawny wasnt alone though, there was Scarelt. Scarelt had blue eyes that looked brighter than the sky in daylight. Not only did scarelt have colored eyes but, she had yellow hair as well. people called her an alien most of the time. Shawny always felt drawn to this strange girl who was much like herself. Shawny had tried talking to her once before, what shawny didnt know was that Scarelt is a mute. Never did one word come out of her mouth.After school was over Shawny would race to the bus to get her normal seat, which was at the very front where she could talk to the bus driver on the way home. Shawny always came home to her mother making dinner. Her home was like any other on her block, light brown, small, and very little windows.Shawny was fine with her tiny house. her father worked hard to keep it over her and her mothers head. Shawny had a younger brother. His name was Paul. Paul is only four and is able to drive Shawnys mother crazy. Shawnys mom often told her that her brother was different that their was something wrong with his brain. When Shawnys mother told her this she thought well, being different is bad she would tell her mom that she was different to. but her mother just shook her head and told her get the table set for dinner.
