Chapter 8: Black Sheep

Yazoo released Sun from his grasp as he went forward, withdrawing his gun as he started firing at Cloud who was knocked off the bike by Loz and was stumbling over the ground when he finally reached to a stop. "I'm glad that you made it." Kadaj said with sarcasm in his voice. Sun quickly ran towards Marlene to allow her to escape. Marlene looked back at Sun with tear-filled eyes. "S-Sun?" She asked, blinking away the tears. Sun smiled slightly at her. "Run Marlene. Run and do not look back. I can handle myself don't you worry." Sun said softly as she gave the girl one last kiss on her forehead before pushing her slightly, causing her to run. Sun looked back at her brother who was surrounded by the children and the three Remnants. Kadaj pointed the blade to his neck as he circled around him. "See this man? He's our big brother. But alas, in our happy flock, he is what you call the black sheep." Cloud went wide eyed as his eyes gazed to his sister. "Sun..." he murmered softly. Sun looked at him before she clenched her fist and ran at Kadaj. Unfortunately, Loz had noticed and he grabbed Sun to prevent her from hitting his brother, her fist nearly making an impact on Kadaj's shoulder.  Sun snapped and growled while Loz restrained her. "Let my brother go Kadaj!" She shouted. Cloud shifted slightly as Kadaj turned his gaze to her and smirked. "Look who finally speaks." He said softly as he made his way towards the girl. Cloud grabbed hold of his sword. Sun went silent again, sensing the dark aura of the medium length man. Kadaj chuckled under his breath, pressing the blade to her own neck as he tilted her head up. "Shall I see what happens when I slit open your neck?" Sun's eyes widened slightly. 

Cloud frowned as he grit his teeth and ran at Kadaj. "Leave her out of this Kadaj!" Kadaj laughed to himself as he spun around and kicked Cloud, sending him flying back.  Loz went after him along with Kadaj. Sun tried to run away but Yazoo was swift enough to grab her wrist tightly and twisted her arm back, causing a whimper to escape her lips. "You surely are fiesty Sister...." he said softly but with a dangerous tone to his voice. Sun shut her eyes, trying to withstand the pain being implied on her as she listened to the long haired man speak to her. "Now...be a good girl and maybe I wouldn't have to hurt you as much." After much struggling Sun had done, she finally gave in and stopped, letting Yazoo slowly let go of her arm. He smirked to himself. "Good girl...." 

--Meanwhile Cloud and Kadaj and Loz were busy fighting....--

Cloud used his blade to deflect the Materia beam that Kadaj had shot at him. Loz managed to get behind Cloud as he kicked him from behind, causing Cloud to be in between the two as he constantly kept getting kicked repeatedly. Suddenly, a red cloth appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Cloud and zipped across the trees and whatnot, shooting at the two men in black. Kadaj growled as he threw his souba blade but the red cloth disappeared from his reach and dragged Cloud to another section of the Forgotten City, setting him down on the ground where Marlene had ran off to. Kadaj and Loz hissed under their breath as they quickly walked back. "At the rate brother is getting at, he's going to retrieve Sister." Loz stated. Kadaj smirked. "Oh that just won't do...we have to speecd things up a bit now." he said, chuckling darkly under his breath.
