I woke up with a mischievous smile on my face. It's been three years. I can only imagine the look on his face when he sees me again. Eyes wide and holding the hand of his lover. He probably has no idea what I look like now and if he does, then he has been stalking to me because puberty was nice to me. Thankfully.
Chloe and I live in an apartment together. It's in a building near my parents. I actually met Chloe when I just moved to Queensland and she decided to come back with me. Her parents weren't so sure but agreed since they are never home. My parents thought it would be a great idea if we lived outside of home. Don't know why but they thought it would be good for us. I didn't argue with that.
I got up and went out to the hallway and banged on the door across from mine, which belonged to Chloe. "GET UP!!" I yelled then went to get some toast. I put the bread into the toaster and Chloe came out rubbing her eyes.
"Why are you so loud?" She said while resting her head on the counter. I looked at her and smiled hen she put her head up to look at me. "It's a gift." I replied which she rolled her eyes at.
"So when are you leaving to see them?" She asked me. I knew who she was talking about and thought about it. "They said lunchtime. I asked them if I could bring a friend and they said yes." I said looking at her with a big smile. "Sure." She rolled her eyes at me, "I'm going to go get dressed." She got up and stole my piece of toast then ran for it. "Damn it CHLOE!" I yelled while laughing at her. I turn around to make more toast for me.
Once my food is done, I sit down at the table and go on twitter on my phone. Chloe comes back out and turns on the television. "What are you on?" She says as she comes sits by me. Must of been nothing on. "Twitter." I simply reply as I finish my toast. "Has he said anything today?" "I haven't checked." I go on to Luke's profile and check. "Yep. 'Having a family BBQ today with the family and my gf and my band :-)' oh man the whole crew is going to be there" I say and laugh at the end. His girlfriend hates me. That's going to be great as she has to play good in front of his family.
"Does she really have to come? Like I read twitter before and she is one annoying brat." Chloe groans. I laughed but gave her a serious look. "Play nice. Remember, it's better to smile at the haters. They despise seeing the ones they hate happy." I then got up and started walking to my room. "Go get dressed. It's almost 11 and I want to be there soon." I yelled behind me. I reach my room and shut the door, thinking about what I'm going to wear.
I go to my dresser to see if I'm in the mood to wear shorts but come up with nothing appealing to my eye so I head over to my closet. I'm praying for something good right now. I open the door and look at my dresses. I find my dark blue play-suit and I pull it out. It has these little lace details at the end of the long sleeves and at the bottom. Luckily for me the material is very light and it won't be too hot for me in the Australian sun. I put it on and then grab a gold chain belt to go around and to give me shape. I then pair the outfit with a little black bag and some cute sandals. I walk out once I put my phone and wallet in my bag. I sit on the couch waiting for Chloe to finish getting ready. She walks out in a beautiful black summer dress I brought her. She matched it with a gold clutch and and some gladiator shoes.
"Ready to go?" She asked. I nod. "I'm ready for mischief."
