"Francis! Francis! It's the big day!"

My eyes open slowly like a sloth trying to move.

"Francis!"

Quickly I shut my eyes again, I realize it is moving Day. The day where I leave my friends, house, school, and the short drive to my grandparent's house.

"Francis Lilly Stone don't make me come up there!"

Groaning I yell back, " Hold on Mom! God won't you let a teenager get up in the morning?"

The voice quickly responds " I gave you 45 minutes get dressed and come down stairs, NOW!"

   Sliding out of my bed my feet touch the cold bare floor where my navy blue and white carpet once was. Walking into the once cluttered bathroom I look up in the mirror and see a tired teen without any food or makeup. Swish. The water of my showers falls like a broken up water fall or like hot rain drops of zen. My clothes drop to the floor and I step into the hot shower, " At least the water works," I sigh. After a good 30 minutes I am ready for the day with the exception of breakfast.

   " Francis, honey the drive to Oregon will be long already without you taking your precious time."

"Sorry Mom, guess I will miss Monk's Corner's charm." I say looking around at our empty house.

"Well can you miss it a bit less? The van has already left and," My Mom sighs, " Listen honey I know you will miss your friends and school and teachers, but your father's job opportunity for a promotion is better there. And besides you will be able to keep in touch."

" What do you mean?" I add, " Wait did you?"

" Here is the iPhone 6, with 15 gigabytes, use them wisely."

"Thank-you Thank-you thank-you THANK-YOU!! You are the best mom ever! Let's go to Oregon!"

~~~~~~~~~~
"How much longer to Oregon? I am dying back here!" I complain
"Do the math," said my father with his eyes in the road, " we have been driving for about 45 minutes and it is a 42 hour drive how many more hours do we have to go?"
"Woah, wait a minute we have 40 more hours left?!?"I groan at the thought of it.
" Alright time to check into one of our many hotels,"
Dragging myself out of the backseat of the Subaru, I feel stiff but free and the need to pee.
" Dad is there a bathroom in the lobby?" I ask clearly needing to use the bathroom.
" No uh there is one is the room."
Uh? What does Uh mean! Ugh!
" here are the room keys-" Before my father could finished his sentenced I snatched his keys and raced to the elevator.
