Background: Jana along with her two sisters were born in a small village inside Wall Maria. After their mother died from a mysterious sickness and their father not returning from his trip to the Shiganshina district, the three sisters were left to fend for themselves. After Jana's eldest sisters decided to join the military, Jana was left alone, frequently tormented by fellow villagers, their zealous nature creating an ominous aura. After turning the proper age, Jana joined the military and followed in her sisters' footsteps, aiming for the Survey Corps While there, she befriended a boy named Arthur, becoming great friends with him. Later, while out on a scouting mission, their group was attacked by the titans, wiping out an enormous amount of their group. Sadly, in an effort to protect Jana from being crushed by a nearby titan, Arthur sacrificed himself for Jana to live on. Arthur's death caused a great change in Jana, causing her to fear others getting close to her, so she wouldn't feel the same pain again and to keep others from risking their lives to save her. After distancing herself from her sisters, Jana became quiet and soft spoken, her only real spark of emotion when slaying titans. After being recruited by Levi and meeting Eren, Jana slowly gained some of her compassion for others back and started to show concern in others, later reuniting with her sisters.
Personality:
Jana can be described as very soft spoken, quiet, but caring, and selfless. She rarely makes a ruckus over certain ordeals, mainly because she does not let her anxiety get the best of her. Though she is quiet, she is also shy, but more than willing to speak her mind when the time arrives. She is very caring and understanding to those she deems important to her. Jana has a difficult time with letting her emotions out, other than concern and anger. Jana holds her anger towards the titans, turning almost sadistic when in battle. However after these fights, Jana has a small breakdown, due to the fear of losing her own humanity in her bloodlust. This fear is the main reasons why she has a difficult time letting others in. Though she prefers not to discuss her own ordeals(deeming it selfish) Jana loves to listen to others, helping them as best she can.

Fighting style(summary)
Jana relies more on her speed and wit than her strength. Though she her strength is average, Jana believes that her speed is what would take out a titan more efficiently. When fighting a titan, Jana's strategy is to use the titan's arms or attacks aimed at her to either blind the titan and eliminate it, or reach the nape of its neck faster. She tends to use this to her advantage to kill the titan quickly and move on to the next.

Elizabeth Axel(Eldest sister )
Age: about late 20's early 30's
Elizabeth is very protective of her two sisters, willing to sacrifice herself, even if she is a squad leader. She is rather serious compared to her sisters. However, she becomes very passionate and caring when around them.
She was very upset over Jana seperating herself from them. She along with a few others was able to talk some sense into Jana, now the two of them closer than ever.
Natalie Axel( Second older sister)
Age: mid 20's
Natalie is a bit more animated than her sisters. Her personality varying from mellow and logical to energetic and almost psychotic. Her main trait, however is cowardness. Though she tries to put up a strong front for herself and her sisters, Natalie would much rather let someone else take the reigns.
She is also very boy crazy and can almost smell a male from a mile away. She has an almost psycho obsession over Erwin, calling him a god and stalking him whenever she can.

Levi: Once Jana had joined Levi's squad, she was somewhat intimidated by him, his status that of humanity's strongest soldier. But Jana had always admired him for his strength and leadership. Once she had seen him show an almost invisible caring side to his squad, Jana grew rather smitten. After the death of her close friend, Jana became a bit more distant but still participating and following orders. After he and a few others talked some sense into her, Jana was grateful, vowing to follow him.
Eren: After Eren had first joined the scouts, Jana was wary of the titan shifter, but then soon came to realize that he was perfectly normal. However, because she pushed others away, she was hesitant of opening up to him. After time, along with Levi and a few others, Eren taught Jana to believe in others, that people you care for will have your back. Eventually, Jana held a soft spot for Eren, though she has a tendancy to push him away every now and then. Over time, Jana began to develop feelings for Eren, seeing that he cared much for her.
