Percy was so upset with himself. He was excited-somewhat, but more disappointed at what Annabeth's reaction was. He didn't want to leave his friends, his home, his entire life.
Percy continued to follow Chiron back to the Big House. When they arrived Percy looked so depressed and Chiron realized.
"Are you feeling okay, Percy? What's wrong?" Percy wasn't the type of person to just state his feelings. All he replied with was
"I'm fine. I'm just going to have a hard time adjusting." Chiron sighed.
"That's normal, for anybody going to a new school. But you're not normal and neither is anybody over there. There you'll learn magic that could help here and you'll learn about magical creatures. Plus, the teachers and programs are amazing. You'll be back. After all, this is your home."
Now it was time for Percy's flight over from New York to England. From there, he would go to King's Cross Station and board a train on Platform 9 and 3/4. This confused him so much. But oh well, he'd have to deal with it over there.
"Okay, I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Let's go," Percy consented.
Chiron glanced at him and nodded with a sorrowful, yet understandable look in his eyes.
After a while of high altitudes and ear pains, they finally landed.
