A/N: I've decided to change the POV of the story so now it will be in first person instead of third! Hope you enjoy the chapter! <3

I fell back on my bed, my heart racing madly, as a huge smile began to spread across my lips. This is ridiculous. This only happens in movies, but it was happening to me. I screamed excitedly. My neighbors would probably hate me, but I couldn't care less.

Time. Shit.

I deuces to wear my favorite black jeans, a Totoro blouse, hightop converse, and a grey sweatshirt. I brushed my hair the best I could and did my makeup at the best of my ability. It didn't look amazing, but at lest I didn't look terrible.

After getting ready as quickly as I could I looked in the mirror. My hair was too straight, my glasses looked too nerdy, and I was so short he'd hurt his neck looking down at me.

I could never be satisfied with my look. Something about looking in the mirror for a last time always made me feel insecure and want to change. However, there was absolutely no time now. My heart was beating so quickly I thought it might actually pop out of my chest.

As a teenager I was very insecure and never wanted to be alone and I carried this into adulthood. Seeing Dan would be the first time I would have an actual conversation with someone since I moved in. I've got no friends in London and my friends from Brighton had all been busy with uni and jobs and such. This had made me pretty sad honestly considering they were all busy and I have been literally working in a coffee shop, making dead end YouTube videos, and watching successful YouTubers.

I suddenly snapped out of all my thoughts and began to walk. Distracted of course but at least I wouldn't be late. Thank goodness I picked somewhere that was walking distance.

I began to walk quickly; looking down at my watch every now and then just to check I wasn't late. Thankfully I got there at 12:28. Although being one Dan Howell's superfans I knew that he wasn't one to be on time most of the time so I decided to get some tea while I waited.

After about fifteen minutes of listening to music and sipping on my cup I began to wonder if he was still coming. Then I heard the bell on the door ring and I turned around to check if maybe he was there, I'd been doing this the whole time, but it'd been nothing worth turning for until now. He was here.

He was even taller than I'd ever thought, but more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I saw him look around until he spotted me, his eyes fixated on me and we made eye contact. My hazel brown eyes locked gazes with his darn ones and I half smiled to try and let him know that it was me. He half smiled back and began to make his way over.

My stomach felt clenched, my heart was racing faster than it ever had, and my inner was going insane. Oh my god I'm about to meet Dan Howell. Oh my god I look absolutely disgusting this is ridiculous. What if he doesn't like me and wants to leave what will I do?

I watched as he got closer and closer and stood up once he was getting close. Three deep breaths, Luci. Afterward I felt calmer which was good because by the time I had calmed down he was right in front of me.

"Hello," he said calmly with a small smile. "Hi," I said with returning a smile.

"Shall we?" I asked sounding surprisingly smooth. He nodded and I bit on my lip as we took a seat on the table that I'd chosen.

"I'm sorry I'm late by the way, I lost track of time on Tumblr because I live nearby and I thought that it wouldn't matter," Dan said with a soft chuckle.

I let a small giggle leave my lips and I shook my head. "It's no problem. I'm Luci by the way." Now it was Dan's turn to shake his head.

"Oh no I already knew I googled you," he stopped for a second. "Oh my god that sounds so terrifying I just wanted to know if you had some criminal record or something."

I laughed at this and showed him a knowing smile. "Don't worry I would do the same thing if I was in your place."

Dan smiled and ran his long fingers through his brown fringe. Did I mention his hair looked absolutely brilliant?

After looking down at his hands for a couple of seconds he looked up once again and we made eye contact. "I've already read literally ever message you've sent me on Twitter, but.. do you want to talk about things? Things you might have not said?" He sounded nervous and that was the cutest thing to me. He had no reason to be nervous, he was meeting a peasant, but yet he was.

I thought about it for a couple of seconds and then nodded.
