Chapter 01: Kicked Out

A Promise

Lucy's POV
I woke up, only to see Natsu hugging my waist as he sleep. 'Unbelievable..' I pushed him off the bed. "Get Off!" I yelled.

I heard a loud thud as Natsu hit the floor. Within seconds, Natsu shot up. "What the heck Luce!" He shouted with a pouty face. I roll my eyes and got off the bed.

"Lusheee! Do you have raw fish?!" Asked a drooling cat. I sweatdropped. "You seriously LOVE raw fish." I sighed as I open the Refrigerator and hand him a raw fish.

"Luce! What's for breakfast?!" Yelled an excited Natsu. I chuckled.

"Hold your horses, Natsu." I smile as I make us pancakes, bacon, and sunny side ups. I put a bunch on the plate, knowing Natsu eats a whole lot.

"Oh right! Thanks Luce!" He literally dumped the whole plate of food into his mouth. 'What the heck?' I just shrugged it off, as I eat my breakfast.

"Luce? You Ok?" Asked Natsu. I, then, realized I was crying.

"I-It's nothing.. It's just.. I hate being saved because I-I'm weak." I stuttered as I cry. I couldn't bare it. I'm always rescued. Suddenly, I felt strong arms wrapped around my Waist.

"Luce.. Please. Never say that. We are always there to protect and save each other. Like what you did to the whole kingdom, during the invasion of the dragons." Natsu said as he stroke my hair.

"arigatōgozai masu, Natsu." I said as I calm down. Happy joined in the hug.

Natsu then break the hug. 'AWWW!' I mentally whined. "I promise, that we will always be on your side. Forever." He said with a toothy grin.

"Forever?"

"Forever."

I smiled and we hug.. Again. >ω<
Truth be told, I love Natsu.. I always have. "You Llllllliike each other!~" Said, the ever so annoying, darn cat.

I had a dark aura as I look at him. "Grrrrrr" I raised my hand.

"Uh oh! RUN!" Happy flied out the door, as I run after him, with Natsu running towards us.

"Come back here!" I yelled.
"Huehuehue" Laughed the darn cat. 'Wait till I get my hands on you!'

Her Return
We ran all the way to the guild and happy pushed the door open. I manage to catch him along the way. Ugh.

"We're back!" Yelled Natsu. All the guild were crying. I looked at Natsu and happy, in confusion and they just shrugged. As we walk closer to the crowd, I saw a silver haired petite little girl.

"Li-Lissana?" I looked over to Natsu, only to see him crying. He suddenly ran over to her. The rest of the guild joined in, only to get me stomped on, Literally.

"Guh!" I grunt in pain. They don't seem to notice. Can't blame 'em, though. They just miss their Long Lost Comrade. I stood up, and saw Wendy, Gajeel, Juvia, Carla, Panther Lily, and the rest of the new guild members already making friends with her.

"That was fast." I said to myself. I'd love to make friends with her but I gotta attend to my wounds first.

I touched a wound and winced in pain. High heels... Evergreen. I sighed as I limp painfully to the guild infirmary.

Maybe tomorrow will be fine.... I hope.

Lucy's P.O.V.
8 months. It's been 8 months of ignorance from the guild. How did I manage through it? I'll tell you how. Master is the only one who acknowledge my presence.

"Today Master is going to be absent." I stood up from my bed, and put on my usual clothing.

"Fairy Tail, here I come." I walked out the door and into the sunny day. I walked at the edge of the road, where a couple of guys warn me.

"Careful, Ms. Lucy! You might fall in!" Yelled the generous old man, who was waving. 'I'm glad the old man is kind.' I thought to myself.

"Okay, Mr. Orlando!" [A/N: Sorry. Me and minion songs X3] I waved back, as I continue my walk to the so called guild.

At Fairy Tail

I opened the doors only to see hateful eyes, glaring at me. I ignored them and walked over to Mira.

"Mira can I-" "Can you what? Die? Cause I sure as hell would love you to!" She shouted. The whole guild laughed at me, as I hung my head low.

I just walked over request board. 'How can they be so cruel.' I thought to myself, as I fight back tears.

"Hey look! Little miss crybaby is taking a job!" Yelled Gray as he froze the paper.

"Wait! Gray please-" I was cut off once again.

"Lucy." I turned to see Natsu. I froze in my place. "Y-Yea Natsu?" I asked.

"You're kicked of team Natsu!" I felt like I've been shattered, repeating the words in my head.

You're kicked out of team Natsu!

Kicked out of team Natsu!

Kicked out!

"But. Wh-why?" I stuttered as I was about to cry.

"We want to replace you with Lissana." He said. I looked over Erza who is silent but has a look of hatred towards me, while Gray, has a look of satisfaction.

"I KNOW BUT WHY?!" I yelled.
Natsu's happy face turn into a frown.

"I guess you want to learn the hard way."
