Lauren's P.O.V 

It was early in the morning, maybe around 8 o'clock. The noisy alarm ringed throughout my whole room. I groaned.  

"Well,  time to burn some fat today." I said stretching. I pushed my body out of the comfy bed to get ready. I brushed my teeth,  sprayed my deodorant and perfume, and threw on some workout clothes. 

"Let's take on the world." I mumbled before plugging my earbuds and was off for my morning run. 

After my morning run, I went to stop by target to get my ingredients for my acai bowl. I grabbed a basket and was off. I was skimming through all the aisles, cause like who wouldn't? I then found the fruit section and grabbed a couple of things plus the granola. Before walking out, I remembered something in my head. It was the letter that Ethan gave me. I pulled the crumpled note and reread it again. 

Hey, sorry you had to get 2 notes in one day. Not so romantic I know. But um can you run an errand for me? I need you to get me our favorite candy. The Sour patch. Thank you! ;) - E

I smiled once again at his cuteness and was off the candy aisle again. I looked through each candy section until I found it. It was a red balloon tied with the note. 

Hey babe, thanks for finding the candy! Now, go and pay for it and open it once you get home. No cheating, remember I got eyes :) - E

I was kinda freaked out by that, but ok. I rushed to the counter and asked the lady to scan. 

"Hey, are you Lauren?" the girl said. How does she know my name? 

"Yeah? Why?" I said raising a brow. 

"Oh, a young man. I'm not sure who it was but gave me this letter. I think you should read it." she said handing me the note. 

"Thank you." I said before grabbing my stuff and running back home.  I quickly opened the bag of sour patches to reveal the candy, with a tag on it. 

There is buried treasure underneath this. FInd me. Use it to buy something nice for tonight.

What's tonight? I then dump all the candy onto the counter, cause screw it. I then saw $200 inside. Maybe I'm going to a fancy restaurant or something. So I decide to get cleaned up then go shopping for tonight. This is gonna be interesting. 

But what she didn't do is she forgot to read the note..............
