Chapter two | The Flower

"DANIEL CHRISTOPHER PREDA! WAKE UP RIGHT NOW!" Daniel hears his mom screaming from the other room.
"Okay mom...stop yelling at me!" says Daniel with a sleepy voice
"Sorry Danny, I'm really stressed right now. I want you to make friends here...not like at the other school. " says Daniel's mom, Maria, while coming to his room.
"It will be alright mom!" says Daniel while taking her hand. But he knew he is going to get bullied because of his sexuality, he just hoped no one would find out.
"And maybe bring some boys homeee!" jokes his mom while leaving the room. Maria knew about Daniel's sexuality and she was very supportive. But she wasn't the best mother. Maria was an alcoholic and she beats Daniel. Daniel always tries to be the perfect child.
- at the principal's office
Daniel gets there early. He was waiting for that "Joey" who needed to show him around. He just hope Joey isn't a douchebag and won't bully him or maybe steal his money. He just wanted a friend.

Joey is on a rush but he finally arrives. He enters the principal's office. He sees Daniel. Damn, the boy is handsome. Joey looks into his beautiful green eyes awkwardly. Daniel had brown hair and was taller than Joey.
"Er...hi...I'm Daniel." says Daniel a little bit intimidated by Joey. Joey wasn't really handsome in Daniel's eyes, but he was pretty handsome too.
"Hi! I'm Joey!" says Joey so hiperactive. "I'm going to show you around. Mind if my friend Cat joines us?"
"No...I...um...really want to make new friends." says Daniel awkwardly
"Okay, let's get going" says Joey
// on the hallway //
Cat comes and kisses Joey on both cheeks and waves and hugs Daniel. Cat is a really loving person and always tries to make new friends, but it doesn't really work out for her.
"Hi! You must be Daniel, right?" says Cat
"Yes, that's me. You're Cat, no?" says Daniel hoping he didn't say her name wrong
"Yes! So, tell us something about you Daniel!" says Cat
"Well, I'm 17 and I live with my alcoholic mother. I moved into this school hoping to make new friends" says Daniel
"Well, we're your friends now!" says Joey glad he has another friend and hoping no girls hit on him because Joey really tought Daniel looked good. He hoped Daniel wasn't straight.
