Fate. Such a strange word, yet means so much. I believe in fate, it shapes the future or more is the future. It can be so cruel and so rewarding if you respect it.

My name is Amelia Rose Omberland I'm 16 my birthday is 25th of February. I have dark brown/black hair, vibrant green eyes and a medium/slim build. Right now I'm helping my Mum move houses. We got a nice place in the city, when I say city I don't mean in the middle of Perth(Australia) but in the suburbs. Where I am moving out of is in the country in the hills. Anyway the house we are in now is really old but big, but our new house is the opposite hopefully we adapt quickly.

"Amelia! Can you please come and help me?" Mum calls out to me.

"Of course. Coming!" As I walk though the house to find mum my mind drifts off. What will I be going into? So many things could happen! It's exciting and terrifying at the same time, so many questions to be answered.

As I walk into the kitchen I see mum on a stool trying to reach the top shelf, she's not that much shorter than me has the same hair as me but has brown eyes. My mother is a lovely lady one of my best friends, I love her to bits.

She looks at me with a helpless look like she always does when she can't do something herself, it makes her look adorable. I walk up to the stool as she silently returns to what she was doing before looking annoyed, I giggle to myself.

After I helped mum with the stuff in the kitchen I went back to my room, it's a really big room I'm going to miss it. I have my bed, a couch, TV and a couple of shelves in there it's a dream room to most teens. But I know that I won't get that in the suburbs, sadly. As I look around this room I remember all the nights spent talking to my bestie(well ex bestie) about everything under the sun. We would stay up to 4am just talking! I miss that, the close bond her and I had, I could trust her with anything, I think I still do even if we aren't friends anymore. But now my room looks empty and sad to see me to go.

It's weird how things change like when we first moved here I thought it was the best place, but now I want to leave as fast as possible. This town has become so boring and dry as in nothing to do, you can go to the movies without planning the whole day out or even go for a swim. Mum and I have gotten sick of it. I know that both of us will miss our friends here deeply, maybe mum will be affected the most.

I snap out of my trance and hear mum talking to someone outside, the removalists must be here. We have pretty much finished packing so it just needed to be loaded onto the truck and we are set. Oh how time flies! Now I have to take a deep breath and be ready for what's about to change, what fate has in store for me.
