A/N: So yeah.. this is for a competition... Sorry if it sucks. I am not very good at writing some witty & sarcastic stuff.
INTRODUCTION
*On Twitter*
@Randomtwitteraccount : One Direction haven't been spotted in almost a week. Anyone know where they are?
As I was packing for a holiday in the Carribean, I took the opportunity to quickly go on Twitter while my mum was out. She says that Twitter is a waste of time, and stuff, and always complains about 'wanting her daughter to have an actual life instead of being in her bedroom, surfing the internet'.
My comeback is always "Just because you didn't have things like these when you were a teenager. You probably had to write letters and stuff that no one does anymore."
Then she sends me to my room, where my own personal laptop was.
Yup. She is one smart cookie.
My name is Gabrielle Clarkson, but you can call me Brie.
I used to live in Manchester (in England, if you didn't know already) with my dad, mum and older brother.
Ever since my dad left, my mum got all sad at first and would do anything to make her kids happy. So me and Cameron, my brother, decided to play around with her and ask if we could move to America.
Surprisingly enough, she agreed.
Well, after three months of living up at the north of California, she found out (which I still do not know how she did) and has been bitter ever since.
My brother, who is now 21, lives in his own flat in Oregon (the state above California) with his mates.
I am only 17, but my mother will not let me move out until I had finished college/university.
Cameron didn't even go to college.
But my mum expects more from me, therefore expecting me to go to one of those big universities with a huge campus and what not.
I talked her into going on a four week cruise around the Carribean.
All I said was "Hey mum, I think ya need a break or something..."
Then she gave me a ten minute lecture about what she has done for us and what she had to give up and some other stuff that I could not be bothered listening to.
It ended with "Do you know how much money I spent on you guys?"
I shrugged my shoulders and stupidly said a hundred thousand.
Then she started screaming at me.
"MILLIONS!! MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!! TO FEED YOU, TO CLOTHE YOU, TO PAY FOR YOUR EDUCATION, TO SHELTER YOU AND SOME OTHER CRAP THAT YOU DON'T EVEN NEED!!"
I took that as a signal to send myself up to my room.
So here I am, two days away from a holiday, out in the sun all day, worrying about whether One Direction have secretly split up or something and they just haven't told the world, which is why they are hiding or some random thing like that (I know, I'm pretty weird like that!).
I just hope no drama comes from now until I get off that boat.
