I untidily unpacked my things and stuffed it all into the drawers and cupboards in my cabin. I had my own small one, across the room from my mum's one.
Once I had finished, I asked my mum if I could head over to the snack bar and get some food before we eat lunch.
"Just be back before 11! And don't try anything that looks stupid."
"Yes. Fine. Whatever!"
I sat down on one of those tall seats by the counter and ordered a tall glass of a banana smoothie. As I waited for them to finish it up, a tall young man, about a year or so older than me, came and sat two seats away from me.
He looked my way and I saw that he had -
Very familiar, curly, brown hair.
Some sunglasses.
A plain grey shirt on.
And the cutest smile ever.
It seemed oddly familar though, for some reason, but I just can't think properly right now.
The guy realized that I had been staring at him the whole time and moved over to the seat right next to me.
"Hey!", he said with a friendly tone.
"Uh.. Hi!", I reached out to shake his hand.
He reached over to shake it and that is when I realized who it actually was.
Harry Styles.
But why would he be here? On a cruise ship.
Then it hit me.
*Flashback*
I checked my twitter timeline as I packed for the holiday I was looking forward to the most.
*On Twitter*
@Randomtwitteraccount : One Direction haven't been spotted in almost a week. Anyone know where they are?
*Real life*
They all must be taking a break from all the singing/touring/travelling etc.
"Helloooo?", Harry said waving his arms around my face frantically.
"Huh? What?", I snapped back down to earth.
"I started talking to you and you zoned out..."
"Yeah.. I was just thinking about how cuter you look in person!", I lied.
"Guess this disguise wasn't working."
"Harry, anyone can tell that it's you! Your so-called 'disguise' is only some sunglasses, which only cover your eyes.", I told him.
He took them off, seeing that it was useless.
I saw how bright his green eyes were.
"I'm Brie!", I took the opportunity to introduce myself to him, hoping he would remember me.
My banana smoothie was already on the counter infronnt of me but I only just saw it then.
"Well Brie.. How about I meet you here again at, hmm.. 4 o'clock?", he asked nervously.
"Sure! Can I have your number. You know, incase I can't come.", I replied.
We exchanged numbers as I started to drink my smoothie.
Harry's phone rang after a few seconds.
"Oh. I'm sorry, but I have to go now. I'll still see you later though!"
"Sure!", I said and finished up the rest of my drink and went back to my cabin to just relax for a while.
*One week later*
HARRY'S POV
Me and Brie have been seeing each other for a while now, but I no one actually knows about it. She's a pretty nice girl.
Smart, funny, really weird in the cutest way possible.
I'm here waiting for her at the snack bar, the first place we met. I smiled at the thought of that, but my thoughts got invaded with some worrying ones.
Okay. She'll show up right? But what if she doesn't? Why am I panicking though?
I checked the time again.
1:34
Brie was meant to be here four minutes ago!
There she was on the other side of the room, running towards me.
"Sorry I'm late! As you can see, I'm not a fast runner. Well, actually, I'm not a runner.", Brie told me.
"Well... You're not that late!"
I grabbed a seat and she followed me and sat down too.
"So.. what are we doing today?" she asked curiously.
"Well.. I've always wanted to go on a adventure....", I said trailing off. I didn't really know if she was one of those adventurous types of girls, if you know what I mean.
"Perfect!", Brie replied, grabbing my hand and running off.
"Where are we going?"
"Just wait!"
"Brie, tell me right now!"
"Do you want to have an adventure or not?" she said, not bothering to look back at me.
"Okay.. I'll be quiet."
We turned around the corner to see a couple of bright orange life boats, lined up all in a row.
"No!", I told her seriously. There was no way I was getting in that no matter how tempted I am.
"C'mon Harry! It's not like we're actually gonna go down to the water!"
I took a few seconds to decide.
It was risky, but...... interesting.
I walked towards the first boat and hopped inside as she followed close behind.
"Are you sure we're safe?", I asked, slightly worried.
Brie shrugged and shook her head from side to side.
The lifeboat started to rock a bit.
"I'm getting out!", she yelled as she fumbled around.
I heard a little noise and the boat started moving. Downwards.
