Chapter fourteen: Asleep

Jimin's P.O.V

Im here... Sitting beside the lifeless body of the woman...

I soon realized how much she meant to me..

We may be enemies..

But I love her.. and turns out she loved me back..

And she did... She told me so..

"I..love you"

Those three words.. that pierced me.. that will forever torture me..

I stared at her pale face.. she looked exactly like this when I slept beside her..

Except.. she was warm.. she was breathing.. she moved..

I wish this was a dream.. I wish this was a nightmare.. I wish.. this isnt reality..

I hugged her lifeless body and cried out loud.. My sobs was singing along with the harsh wind that made my skin tingle due to its sounds..

I never got the chance to say it back to her..

"I dont want you to go.. Its just too much..."

I realize that crying wont bring her back..

But what can I do.. She made me weak..

She was supposed to be my enemy.. that turned into the person that I ever truly loved..

A sudden ring from nearby distracted me.. It annoyed me to the core..

It turned out to be Y/n's phone..

"Mom"

The phone rang.. and rang..

I decided to answer it..

"H-hello?" I stuttered.. I was still shivering from crying

"Hello? Y/n?" Her voice was concerned..

"Sorry Ma'am.. Its not Y/n.." I sighed out.. I knew shes going to get mad..

"Please give the phone to her.."

"I... cant."

"Why is that? Give it to her.."

"Shes gone.."

With my final words.. she dropped the call..

Not too long a tall figure appeared infront of me..

A tall figure that was oddly familiar to me..

"Y/n....." She spoke out..

She sounded exactly like the woman behind the phone earlier..

"Mom" Thats what the contacts said..

"What happened to her!?"

Her voice was loud.. it echoed through my ears..

"S-she... Sacrificed herself... so I wouldnt die.. from the machete.." I answered..

Her mother sounded so mad.. so furious.. but so afraid at the same time..

"She bit you.. didnt she? You allowed her to?"

She was still keeping cool and collected as she took her daughter away from my arms..

All I did was nod.. I didnt want to speak.. nor to move..

"Hold on to me.."

So I did..

And not too long we were somewhere where the wind wouldnt get us..
