Nightmare: *thinking about the date*

Cross: *screeching loudly and sorting through clothes looking for something nice to wear*

(I'll show you what I'm going to dress them up in cause why not XP)

~At the date~

Cross: *lying in his back looking at the stars, slightly mesmerised by them*

Nightmare: *holding Cross's hand, also looking at the stars but also thinking about what to say to him*

CC: *watching in disgust and praying they don't start flirting and hugging*

Nightmare: H-hey Cross. Y-you look lovely tonight.

Cross: *blushes intensely*  O-oh. T-thank you.

~Another awkwardly long silence~

Nightmare: T-the Stars are really b-beautiful tonight, aren't they?

Cross: Yeah! There are so many of them!

Nightmare: To be honest, they're not as beautiful as you. *turns to face Cross*

Cross: *mad blushing intensifies and stuttering like crazy*

Nightmare: Mind: He's so cute when he's flustered.

Cross: *cant think of anything to say so just hugs*

Nightmare: *hugs back and is also thinking hard about what to say next*

Suddenly, a flash of light shot up into the air and exploded. A firework. 

Cross: *gasps in awe and tugs on Nightmares sleeve*

Nightmare: Wow.

~A few hours of small talk and silence (and fireworks) later~

Cross: *starting to fall asleep on Nightmares lap*

Nightmare: Guess that means it's time to go... *yawns sleepily and picks Cross up and then teleports back to base*
