A/N:
So it's confirmed. Jack is actually a Ravenclaw! It would've been funny if he was sorted into Gryffindor, then this story wouldn't be far off! 😂

Seán's POV
I've fucked everything up. I should've told her from the start but yet, I let my naive brain convince myself that I could live my ordinary life, with my wife totally unaware that a wizard was living right under her nose.I began to pace, my anxiety getting the better of me, as I struggled to brainstorm ideas of what to do and how I'm going to fix our relationship.
"Seán, chill." Newt told me. "She'll come to her senses soon enough."
"But what if she doesn't? What if she'll never forgive me? What if she doesn't come back here because the ministry has caught her? What if-"
"None of that will happen. If she loves you, she'll find it in her heart to forgive you and return." Newt reassured me.
I stopped pacing and let out a sigh, throwing my head back and rubbing my eyes under my glasses. "What are we going to do?" I muttered.
"I don't know. I suppose we're on the run." Newt shrugged.
"Looks like it, doesn't it. I just don't know-"
My sentence was suddenly cut off by Newt pulling me by my arm down the side of the alley and pressing a finger to his lips. I sealed my mouth shut as I listened carefully. To my horror, I heard two familiar, gruff male voices from the Ministry of Magic.
"Well where would they go?"
"I don't know. They could be anywhere. They could've even gone to the Muggle world."
"Let's start here."
"Right here?"
"No you fool, just Diagon Alley in general! Let's start at the tavern."
"They would go to the tavern?"
"Are you going to be this dense for this whole trip? Because I may have to use the silencing charm to shut your trap. We're searching for three possible criminals so of course we would have to search all grounds."
"Oh... yeah, right."
"Lewis, if you see any sign of the Muggle, make sure you put an end to her."
"Right you are, Wyatt."
Once I heard their voices fade I slowly emerged out of the alley and Newt followed behind me.
"That was too close." Newt whistled. I suddenly felt very sick. These guards weren't who they seemed. They're breaking the wizard law for sentencing citizens to death without a higher authority's opinion!
"Wait... Y/N! She doesn't know they're here!" I frantically say to Newt as I grab his arm. "We need to find her before they do." I held my fingers crossed the whole way, wishing we would reach her first.

Your POV
I don't know how much time has passed. Does time work differently in this world? I think it had only been about five minutes since I left Seán and Newt but it felt like I had been wondering for hours with nothing but my thoughts for company. I didn't know what to make of this situation. On one hand, Seán had lied to me all these years but on the other hand, it's one hell of an unbelievable secret to tell me from the get-go. Am I upset? Yes. But do I love him any less? Of course not.My feet seemed to had lead me to this old tavern. There was a musky smell of wood as timber was aflame in the burner, golden embers swirling in the air and disappearing. People with drinks in their hands were sat around tables and on stools at the bar.
