"Hey." Radicles said rubbing his arm as he walked up to Enid."Look...I didn't mean to hurt your feelings earlier." He admitted.
"I was just looking forward to it was all." She told him straightening up.
"Oh. You actually wanted to go?" Rad asked in a surprised tone.
Her face turned a slight red color. "I've gotten to know you for the real you, and I actually had fun with you." Enid admitted with a half smile.
They locked eyes for a second.
"Enid. I didn't know that." Radicles told her with an embarrassed expression crossing his face.
"Well you do now." She nodded.
"Can we go outside for a second?" He asked her.
"Sure." She agreed as she followed him outside.
Radicles pulled the ticket out of his pocket and let it go into the wind.
She stared at him with a shocked expression.
"Why'd you do that?!" Enid asked pulling at his arm.
"You want to go to Prom, I'm not going to let you down." Radicles grinned as he let his gaze fall on her.
She returned his smile.
"Wow." She said to him.
Rad gave a light chuckle as he sat down on the cold sidewalk, Enid following.
"We argue a lot." He said with a grin.
Enid rubbed her neck. "We do." She admitted with a small laugh.
"I can't believe you did that." She said staring out into the distance.
"What?"
"That ticket." She said letting her gaze fall onto Rad.
"There's always next time." He said with a shrug.
"You're not too much of a jerk." Enid teased.
"I guess not." Radicles joked with a big grin.
She got up and turned to him.
"Do you wanna go for a walk?" She asked.
Radicles stood up.
"I'd like that." Came his answer.
The two began to walk throughout the night and began chatting and getting along.
"Do you want to meet here tomorrow night @8:00 for Prom?" Radicles asked.
"Yeah, that's fine." She agreed.
"I really didn't know you wanted to go to Prom." He implied.
"Ah shut up." She teased. "I've never been to a Prom."
Rad snorted and raised his eyebrows.
The two talked and talked, until Enid checked the time.
"Hell. It's nearly midnight." She pointed out.
Radicles took advantage of her words.
"You going to miss talking to me?" He teased.
"What?!" She let out a laugh.
"No waaaay!" She said rolling her eyes as she turned to lead the way back the way they came.
Radicles followed after her, he really enjoyed this time with her. It was nice not arguing.
"I'm sorry for being so mean today." Enid apologized.
Rad watched her and smiled.
"Yeah it's okay." He reassured her.
"No like seriously." She said in a serious tone.
"Enid. I forgive you." Radicles laughed.
"No need to be so serious."
She punched his arm. "I wanted you to take me seriously.
"I do take you seriously."
"Mm?" She asked with a hand on her hips.

The pair walked back together, enjoying each other's company. They reached the Bodega and then stopped.
Enid waved to him.
"See you tomorrow." She called over her shoulder as she walked home.
Radicles just smiled as he watched her walk home.
There's nothing wrong with liking her.
She probably likes you too.
Don't get too cocky, you never know.
Radicles thoughts swirled around throughout his head.
He shut all the lights off and locked the store up.
Radicles smiled as he walked home, he absolutely couldn't contain his excitement for tomorrow night.
Enid was worth letting that stupid ticket go for~<3
