A surprise

A/N: I've spent quite some time now cleaning up and editing the story so far. I mostly fixed my lack of dialogue, which was what bothered me so please help me out and continue to read and vote! I will also be cleaning up some other parts of the story later to make it better.

Jakes pov:

Now that I proposed to Erika, we had to find a place to reserve the wedding, of course. I wanted Erika to pick since she was so special to me.

I went up to her. "Erika?"

She was playing with the twins and looked up at me. "What is it, Jake?" She smirked.

I picked up Oakley. "I want to know where you want to have our wedding reserved at."

She thought for a minute and then she lit up. "The Hamptons. That would be the best place ever. Could you?"

"Of course I could! You know I'll do anything you want, Erika. I'll go reserve it right now and see if it's available, because the sooner we reserve, the sooner we'll be married. You stay here with the girls, ok?"

"Got it." She grinned at me.

I went into the office and got searching on my computer until the door opened. Didn't I just tell Erika I would do this by myself and she didn't have to? But I still love her.

I turned around to see Anthony. "Hey my bro. What's up?"

"I got back from the gym. What are you doing?"

"I'm reserving a wedding place for Erika and I to get married at."

That caught his attention. "May I ask where?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "I wanted to keep it a surprise, but fine. It's going to be at the Hampton's."

He stared at me with wide eyes. "No wayyy! I've always wanted to go to New York!"

"Is it like you've never been there?"

"Yeah, I've never been there before. I'm excited, bro, and yeah I'm proud of you and Erika."

I stared at him. "You've never been to New York before."

He nodded and shrugged his shoulders. "It's true."

"Alright then. Get out now, I'm making a call for the wedding."

"Fine." And then he left.

I found a reservation for June 28th. That was in 2 days and would give us plenty of time to fly out to New York and get situated. And, we could get married soon.

That sounded cheesy, I thought.

I got my phone and dialed the number.

"Hello, welcome to Hamptons reservations. We're happy you've called us today. How can I help you?"

"Hi. Can I reserve a wedding for Saturday, June 28th please?"

"Let me check to see if that day is available, sir, just a second,"

She came back to the phone. "Saturday, June 28th. Yes that is available. What time would you like to be scheduled? 2:00 to 9, or 3:00 to 7:00?"

"2:00 to 9 please."

"Alright, that sounds great. Your pay check will depend on how you all do the reception and snacks and other things you serve. You will receive a pay check after the wedding is over that same day and will have until July 14th to pay back."

"Got it, thank you ma'am!"

"Your welcome. Have a great day!"

"You too." I hung up the phone and walked out of the office.

"Team 10, get packing, we're all flying out to New York tommorow!"

Tessa came downstairs. "Why are we going to New York? For fun?"

I shook my head. "For Jerikas wedding."

"Oh my god, I'm so happy for you guys! Where in New York?"

"It's a surprise,"

Nick heard the conversation and came out from outside. "Woo hoo, Jerikas getting married in New York!"

Erika came up to me. "So is the wedding tommorow or something? Because I need to go shopping for a dress!"

"Nope, its on June 28th. You can go bridal shopping in New York or here."

She shrugged her shoulders. "I guess in New York."

"Alright then."

Later that night, we put our luggage by the door and we all went to sleep. I was going to be marrying my best friend.
