I moved my eggs around on my plate as Jake sat there awkwardly while looking at me. He cleared his throat, breaking the silence, which caused me in response to look at him.

   "So, are you going to keep it?" he asked, making some more awkward tension in the air. I set my fork down and asked,"what?"

      "You know, the baby," he replied while making a motion with his fork. I sighed then said,"I don't know. I haven't actually thought about it yet." I looked back down at my food and pushed it away from me before I stood up.

    "Where are you going?" I could hear Jake ask from behind me. "I'm going home to see Albert, you can come join me when you're ready," I replied while shutting his front door shut.

      Before I shut the door, I could see Jake's confused face, staring at me. I sighed once again and got into my car and drove off.

  I opened the front door to be greeted by a bear hug from Albert. "I didn't know you missed me this much," I managed to choke out with a 'chuckle' at the end.

     "I got so worried Y/N, I thought something bad happened to you!" He bursted out with tears daring to roll down his face.

    "Well it's something like that," I mumbled with a light tint of pink appearing on my face. Just after I said that, Albert looked down at my neck and asked,"what happened?" Oh fuck, was all I thought while he still looked at the hickeys.

    "Some guy started beating me up last night and most of the bruises went away, except for the ones on my neck apparently," I lied. He replied with a simple 'oh' and set me on the ground. I nervously smiled at him as he gave me a reassuring smile back at me. Just then, Jake walked through the door, his hair ruffled up a bit and his shirt's tie was a bit loose.

   "Well, well, well. Looks like somebody had fun last night," Albert said while wiggling his eyebrows at Jake. I chuckled a little, knowing what Jake did. "Yeah, Jessica was great in bed last night, probably better than Y/N would be," Jake said with a wink to me at the end of his statement.

     "Well, I guess I'll find out eventually," Albert replied smirking while playfully elbowing me.

    I widened my eyes as I realised what he said and a dark shade of red spread like wildfire across my face. Jake noticed this and walked to my side, whilst Albert gave him a side glare as he performed this action.

    Then, Jake sneakily took my hand in his and started to lightly, but reassuringly, rub it with his thumb. I looked up at him and smiled.

   I could hear a loud boom come from the kitchen, which meant that Albert was trying to cook something. I chuckled and peeked out of my room to see that Albert burnt his popcorn, while burning my microwave. "But I wanted that damn popcorn!" he cried.

    "We don't always get what we want Albert, sometimes God (I'm Agnostic btw) has to screw everything up in our lives," I stated with a small smile at the end. Albert widened his eyes and said nothing after my statement.

  I glanced over at the clock that had been placed on my left dresser which read, 5:27. Almost 5:30, great. I got up and walked over to my bedroom door before I heard Jake and Albert talking. I pressed my ear against the door and listened. "So what are you going to do for her birthday?" I could hear Jake ask. "Throw her a party, obviously." I heard Albert snark.

   They're talking about my birthday? I thought they forg- then my thoughts were interrupted by Albert opening my bedroom door, which made me fall into him. "Sorry Albert, I was just going to get a drink," I said nervously. He hummed in reply and stood me back on my feet.

    I looked over his shoulder to see Jake mouth, don't squish it, to me. In response I furrowed my eyebrows and stuck out my tongue. He stuck his tongue back at me. Albert walked back to his seat on the couch and looks at Jake before laying down on his lap.

     "You have a girlfriend, remember?" Jake joked while pointing at me. "Yeah but, everyone knows that we're in a committed relationship," Albert replied quickly.

     I laughed as Jake let out a small chuckle. Albert looked at me then Jake and joined in our laughter fest. As we left the night away, we completely ignored the storm that everyone was preparing for.

   Well shit, I haven't updated this in like 2 weeks! My gawd. I'm sorry, it's just with school and homework I haven't found the time to actually work on this. Also, I'm gonna be updating the lemon, cause it sucked. So it's gonna be longer and more descriptive. So bye my gems!~935 words in total
