Chapter One- "Good morning Shawn "

Katie's POV: Feeling a little groggy i opened my eyes, seeing that the sun was up and shining already. It must have been about 12:30 already, I lazily rolled around to see my beautiful boyfriend Shawn, still happily asleep next to me with one protective arm covering my stomach. He was so beautiful i could hardly bear it. Observing that he didn't look like he would be getting up any time soon, I decided to go downstairs and make him some tea before it's time to get dressed and make the most of this day. I carefully removed his arm from me and lightly kissed his forehead before getting up and making my way downstairs. Wow, how did I get so lucky. Shawn and I just moved out to LA last month and i still couldn't get over how beautiful our house was, actually I couldnt get over how beautiful my life was at the moment. Even though it was a sad day to leave Toronto, i knew LA would bring me.. Bring us a better life. And considering he just got signed it would be easier to live out here instead of always travelling. I began making tea and prepping some stuff for breakfast, completely lost in my thoughts, I felt a pair of hands circling my waist and a delicate kiss on the side of my temple.

"Good morning beautiful"

Even though we had been together for almost two years, it still made me weak in the knees when he called me beautiful.

"Hello handsome, did you sleep well"

"I always do when you're next to me, what's all this?"

By this time i had out all the eggs and the bacon was already on the griddle.

"I just thought I'd make you a little breakfast before we go out"

"That's actually what i wanted to talk to you about, I know we haven't gotten to spend much time together because of everything going on with the record deal, but i have a nice day planned for us today, it's a little bit fancy so look your best" He paused, looking me up and down. "How is it even possible for you to look like this, how long have you been up for?"

"Maybe fifteen minutes"

He turns me around now facing him and lifts me onto the counter top, i wrap my legs and arms around him and he nuzzles his head into my neck gently kissing my neck slowly. I giggle a little and he looks at me and does that cute little smirk of his, he knows im ticklish. Before I know it he lifts me up and brings me to the couch where he starts to tickle me, I cant stop laughing, he's laughing too and i start to kick and in mid laugh i say "Shawn stop, please Im so ticklish!" I grab his neck and pull him onto the floor pinning him down, both of us still laughing, he takes my neck and pulls me in closer and kisses me. Slowly and passionately, after two years he still gave me butterflies. His kisses were so sweet and loving. Long before I was finished kissing him he pulls away.

"Okay go get ready we're going to be late!"

With the biggest smile in the world he kisses me on the forehead and jumps up, grabbing a slice of bacon and running to the staircase, before he goes up he turns around.

"Wouldn't it be faster to shower together?"

Without any hesitation at all I say

"I'll be up in five"
