I stare out of the window,
watching the rain hit the the trees.
All of a sudden it clears. And I snap back into reality. I jump up, putting my shoes on and grabbing my
sweatshirt.
"Mom! I'll be back!" I yell as I run out the door.
I run down the street as fast as I could.
"What are you doing here? My father will kill you!" She cries, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"I have to fight for my happiness and you, my love,
you are what i'm fighting for." I kiss her softly before watching her dad come outside.
"I thought I told you to stay away." He says.
"Well sir, I've promised your
daughter i would fight for my happiness. And she is my happiness." I watch him smile.
"You have passed. You have my daughter. She is yours." He pats my shoulder.
I have earned my everything.
I have earned my love.
I have earned my happiness.
