10 minutes passed and you two haven't spoken a word. You didn't like the awkward atmosphere, so you attempted to make small talk. "So...you live in this neighborhood?" you asked in a nervous tone. It was obvious that even he felt awkward "Yeah. I moved here not too long ago. Where are you from? Your Korean is lacking" he joked, but you became embarrassed. "I'm from America" you said with a sigh. "Why did you move here? Did your dad get a job offer or something?" he asked as if he was really interested. "No, my parents and family are all back in America. I'm here for international studies." you replied and started getting a little emotional. "But why South Korea? Out of everywhere in the world...why not England, France, or-" you stopped walking and cut him off "because I love the culture and I love the music..It's beautiful here" you said as a tear fell down your cheek. Once you realized, you turned your head away "maybe I don't get to see my family, but I get to build a future for myself and make amazing friends, so it's worth it isn't it?" You started crying, you couldn't help it. You hadn't talked about your family with anyone, so why him? "I'm sorry...I just miss them.." you apologized while wiping your tears away. "Here." he said to you in a deep, stern voice. You turned to see him holding his jacket in your face, "It's cold out, you're not dressed for the weather, and you're crying. Just cheer up and put this on." he said while looking away. "Is he embarrassed?" you thought to yourself. "Thank you.." You said while taking the jacket and slipping it on. The jacket was a lot bigger than you, you felt like you were swimming in it. It was really warm and smelt good "so this is what he smells like?" you thought while smiling and blushing. He glanced at you and it looked like he smiled, but you couldn't be sure. "Are you ready to keep walking?" He asked while looking away. "Y-Yeah."
You motioned for him to put his arm back over your shoulders so you could help him walk, but he stuffed his hands in his pockets and started walking perfectly fine. "What's with this guy?" you thought to yourself, slightly annoyed."Why did you ask me to help you walk home if you're not hurt?" you asked him. "I wasn't going to let you walk home alone when it was getting dark out. It's dangerous, and you owed me anyway." he said. "Oh, so you were worried about-" "No." he cut you off before you could finish. "So, you like K-pop?" he asked you, quickly changing the subject. You sighed "Yeah, do you?" He chuckled and replied "it's alright, I prefer Rap and Hip-Hop music." "Ah, that seems to be quite popular here." you weren't surprised. "Yeah it is, have you ever been to a K-pop concert?" he asked with slight hesitation. "Yeah, I've been to quite a few since I came here" you replied with a big smile, but he looked uneasy. "I meant....when you were in America" he really hesitated this time. "Oh, yeah I went to a few. They were a lot more intimate than the ones here." you answered, but he seemed disappointed, as if you weren't answering correctly, so you went on talking about the concerts you went to in America. "I went to Chicago for most of my concerts because it was closer to me." "You said concerts in America are a lot more intimate than they are here? Which concert was the most intimate?" he asked you. You were surprised that he was so interested. "Hmm..." you thought for a moment while he turned around and stared at you, at least it looked like he was staring at you but he still had his sunglasses on. "why are your sunglasses still on? It's dark out.." you asked with a confused look on your face "Hey! I asked a question first, I'll answer after you answer my question" he replied sounding impatient. "Alright...the most intimate was probably JJCC in Chicago. I was the 2nd row from the stage, we had hi-touch/photo op, and Polaroids with members at the end. It was awesome." you sighed happily. "Oh and members took my phone to take selfies on it!" You said as you showed him a picture of Sancheong (your bias) and Yul. "I remember..." he said with a soft voice. "What?" you thought maybe you heard him wrong, but he turned and looked at you. "I remember." He said with a very confident voice that time, and he said it much louder. You stood there in silence, unsure of what he was talking about, and then he said it. "I remember you..."
