today was your first date with Anthony..you were nervous to say the least. the two of you were going to a coffee shop. After you had checked yourself out in the mirror about 700 times you stepped out into the warm heat, there was almost no wind, and it was steamy hoot. even though the sky looked overcast some how the heat still managed to get you. you started to make your way to the coffee shop on foot-a terrible idea-your steps were slow as you tried not to get overwelmed. eventually you made it to the quaint little shop, the seats were faded leather couches, some pillows littered across as well as cute wooden chairs that were painted white, ma small pillow on the chairs that were around small tables. this wasnt the place you had expected to go on a date to..it seemed so cute and quiet which contrasted the mans usual loud and rowdy personality. Nonetheless you moved to the counter to order one of the many iced drinks at the counter, where a friendly woman was standing behind. Just as you had opened your mouth to speak you heard a familiar goofy voice speak your name "y/n!" you turned around to see anthony, a crooked smile on his lips. He was wearing a polo shirt and dress shorts, a sweater hanging in his arms which contrasted you quite a bit as you had taken casual as a jean shorts and teeshirt kinda deal-now you felt embarrassed. "oh! anthony!" you smiled and went to hug him. He was a good hugger. he was warm and smelt nice, you thought as you pulled away.
After you two had taken a seat in the cute wooden chairs which looked cute but were actually so uncomfortable the two of your started to talk more. The topics ranging from your favourite colours all the way to childhood best friends. Once you had finished drinking your iced coffee, you put the empty cup on the table and smiled at him. "it's getting late," he spoke "i should walk you home." he added and got up from his spot, reaching out to take your hand as he picked up his sweater with his other.
The two of you walked down the side walk hand in hand towards your apartment. You had insisted that he didn't have to walk you as his house was in the opposite direction, to no avail though you didn't mind too much. A small water drop fell on your head and you made a confused expression as you looked up at the cloudy sky, which started to rumble as more rain poured down-which made the man next to you rap his sweater around your shoulders "thank you anthony.." you spoke softly
