It was dinner and my mum, Jack (my brother) and me were having spaghetti bolagnese, my favourite.
"Were you talking to someone before Jade?" my mum asked as she twirled the pasta around her fork
"Umm yeah," I said nervously wondering if she found out it was a boy (my mum was a bit protective when it comes to love)
"Who was it sweetie?"My mum asked. Eating her pasta.
"Um Luke He-Hemmings..."i replied
As soon as i said his name, Jack lifted his head and glared at me, i gave him a dirty look and he looked back at his food looking a bit pissed off.
"Oh a boy Jade? Is he nice?" My mum asked a little bit worried.
"MUM! DONT LOOK SO WORRIED, I CAN HAVE FRIENDS THAT ARE BOYS!" I yelled a bit annoyed.
"JADE! DONT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT! IM JUST WORRIED!" she yelled back
"WORRIED ABOUT WHAT, ME HAVING A BOYFRIEND?" i shouted stomping off to my room and slamming the doors and letting the tears stream down my face, why was my mum so scared about me having a boyfriend i know none of them are my boyfriend i just have feelings for them both, i cant decide between Luke and Ash...
I went on my laptop and went on Facebook to let all of my anger out. Then i thought i would look at Ashtons facebook page, so i did and i inboxed him to tell him to accept me, he did and he inboxed me.
'Hey how are you?' he said
'Um im fine i guess'
'no Jade im not stupid i know when a girl says she is fine she is not. whats wrong.'
i couldnt reply, i couldnt say what me and my mums argument about boyfriends it was already too awkward with him so i left the chat and signed off pretending i didnt see the chat.
"Jade honey are you in there?" My mum asked knocking on the door.
"Yes what do you want?" i said a bit more nasty than i should have.
"Im sorry sweetie, i bet Luke is a nice guy" she said sounding sympathetic
"Im going to bed mum, night" i sighed
"Goodnight Jade" she left.
I wasnt going to bed. I was going to Ashton.
