Zombie Apocalypse | Why Don't We Fanfic

Chapter Three

We walk around the building and I notice a door.

"Jack, omg there's another door!" I say

"Let's check if it's locked" He says walking towards the door

We try to open it but it wouldn't budge.

"Fuck, it's blocked by something" I say

"Do we look around if there's other doors open?" Jack asks

"If we do, don't you think they would all be locked?" I say

"It's worth the shot" Jack says

I start to look around and then I see an open window but it's pretty high up.

"Jack, look there's an open window" I say while pointing at the window

"But it's pretty high up" He says and sighs

"I could go on your shoulders" I say

"Okay, hop on" He says

I go on his shoulders and crawl in the window. Since it was pretty high up it was a pretty high jump for me to go down. I then get scared to jump down, one of my fears is heights and this isn't helping me at all. It was already enough for me to get on top of Jack's shoulders.

Then I hear Jack scream. Without thinking twice I jump off. I fell onto the floor hard, my head was throbbing but I didn't care. I sprint towards the door and see it was blocked by a bookcase.

I tried pushing the bookcase but I didn't have a lot of strength. After struggling a bit I then start kicking and pushing the bookcase with all my strength I have. It moved but not a lot but it was enough for Jack to squeeze through.

I squeeze through and open the door and I see Jack on the floor with a zombie on top of him. He was struggling to keep it from getting near him.  I see his gun tossed the opposite direction he was.

I kick the zombie off of Jack and it falls besides him. I get on top of the zombie and get my pocket knife and stab it in the head.

I get up and turn towards Jack.

"Wo-" He says but I interrupt him

"Are you okay?" I ask concerned

"I'm okay, thanks to you" He says and hugs me

I hug him back. We let go and Jack goes and picks up his gun and I get my pocket knife.

My head then starts hurting a lot.

"Ow" I say and hold my head

"Mia, what's wrong?" Jack asks concerned

"When I jumped down the window it was a pretty high jump and I landed hitting my head" I say rubbing my head

"Awe babe" He says

"Babe?" I ask with a smirk

"D-Did I say that? I-I mean uh" He says nervously

"Om-" I say but stop when I see a zombie walking towards us

I quickly grab Jack's hand and head inside the police station.

"What was that for?" Jack asks

"There was a zombie walking towards us" I say and let go of Jack's hand

"Oh" he says

"Let's head towards the others and see if they opened the door" I say

"Okay, let's go" He says

We start walking towards where the others  where.
