On 30 March 2017, Mrs Song have announced that she will have a project called DCTRG and DCTRB which means DCT Rookie Girls/Boys. She revealed the reason behind this project is to help the trainees have more experience before they debut.
She have also revealed that she have been looking closely to the trainees performance and have chose a few trainees to put up on tv shows to showcase their talents and to reveal more about themselves.
On September 5 2017, Mrs Song and DCT Entertainment official Page posted these 2 teaser of DCTROOKIES.
