Chapter 2: Axel Morgan

New school. That's all I thought about this morning. And last night. New school. New school. New school. New school. A repeat in my head.

I walk into school and every single girl stops to look at me, I huff out some air. Why must girls be like this. I get to my locker and look down at the combination on the paper, I spin the dial quickly, nothing. I sigh again and curse to myself.

"Need some help?" A voice speaks softly, I jump and look over at this small girl whose locker is next to mine, she scared me to be honest and I nod.

"May I.. ?" She nods at my schedule and I give it to her. She steps in front of my locker and spins the dial with the some numbers I did but at a slower pace. She smiles when it clicks open.

"Wow... Thanks. I guess I did it too quickly." I mutter.

"Yeah. It's best to do it slowly." She nods as she steps back over to her locker and closes it. She starts to turn around but I grab her wrist.

"What's your name?" I ask, looking into her bright ice blue eyes.

"Clarke." Is all she replies as she pulls her hand back.

"I'm Axel." She nods and continues walking. I frown and put things into my locker, I close it and look at my classes. This school is more confusing than my old one. I wonder around for about 30 minutes until I finally get to my class. I walk in and my eyes instantly find Clarke. The teacher tells me to pick any seat and I see two. One next to Clarke. And one next to some brunette with her boobs popping out. I start to walk towards the brunette until I changes direction and it next to Clarke. I grin. She doesn't look at me, so I poke her. Which causes her to yelp and everyone stops and looks at her.

"Is there something wrong Ms. Williams?" The teacher, Ms. Pregger or something like that asks, Clarke glares at me but I'm smirking.

"No ma'am." She squeaked.

"Clar-" I started to speak but the bell interrupted me and she jumped out of her seat, gathering her stuff and practically running out of the class.

"Hi... I'm April." The brunette said.

"Yeah. Hi. Axel." I reply quickly as I race into the hall, I yell Clarke's name but she keeps on walking. I look at my schedule and realize that the class Clarke walked into is the class I have. I walk in and see her sitting in the front seat by the window. I sit next to her, she looks up then sighs and lays her head on the table.

"Clarke.... can you not ignore me?" I say, frowning.

"I can ignore you." She says rudely, she frowns but says nothing. I don't either.

"Alright class. We have a new student, Mr. Morgan. Now Mr. Morgan today we are taking a very important test. You can either take it or study and wait to take it." I look at Clarke and grin.

"I think I'll take it." I answered. Clarke looked ready to hit me.

"Good luck failing." She hissed at me. I frowned, she didn't seem like the type to be very rude. Guess I was wrong. I don't reply. I take the test and grin when I'm finished. My history class in England had already learned all this stuff. The bell rings and I get my stuff, I stand and walk outside the class, waiting for Clarke. I see her exit and I grasp her wrist.

"What did I do to upset you?" I sighed.

"Look. My friend likes you. She supposedly has dibs on you and if you like me. I'm pretty sure she'll find a way to blame it on me and I'd rather not have that, again. You're probably not my type anyway." She yanked her wrist out of my grasp and walked to the cafeteria. I walked after her, hoping to get a better explanation but I saw that brunette girl from class walk up to her as they got their lunch and headed to a table. I went to get my lunch and walked over to them, taking a seat across from them.

"April, right?" I asked, tilting my head as I grinned. April nodded as her head and smiled, Clarke just rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, I am. It's great to meet you. This is Clarke, but she's nothing." She said with a hint of jealously, I notice Clarke flinch out of the corner of my eye.

"Why do you say that? I think she's perfectly fine." I smile genuianlly at Clarke. I hear movement under the table and Clarke jumps up, tears in her eyes.

"Uhm. Sorry. I-I... hurt my foot." She looked to April and then limped off, I frowned at April.

"What was that for?"

"What was what for?" She gave a fake smile that would scare a baby.

"Why did you kick Clarke?"

"Oh. Well. I kinda have dibs on you and she keeps flirting with you. She's a slut so don't mind her. She might taint you." She sneered and I raised an eyebrow.

"Right. I definitely won't go near her or you. Since it takes a slut to know a slut, right?" I growled out, angry at April. She gasped and stood up.

"I am not a slut! I am a virgin." She smiled at me and scoffed.

"Yeah, and I'm the President." I stood up and stomped off to the nearest girls bathroom, I walked in and Clarke gasped.

"Get out Axel!" She screams as she sits on the sink, rubbing her foot.

"No." I walk over to her and lift her foot.

"Does it hurt really badly?" I ask and she nods.

"How could her kicking you hurt that much?" I frown.

"She stomped on it, she's captain of the soccer team so her legs are pretty strong." She sighs and tries to step down but whimpers when she starts to fall to the floor. I pick her up in time and carry her out of the bathroom bridal style. She squeaks.

"What are you doing?"

"Taking you home. Do you have a car?" I walk outside and stop in the parking lot, looking around. I look down to her and she shakes her head. I frown and walk over to my car, I unlock it and open the passenger door. I put her in the seat and close the door, I jog over to the drivers side and get in, closing the door behind me.

"So where do you live?" I ask, putting the key in the ignition, she tells me and I drive out off the school parking lot to her house. It takes about 5 minutes and I pull into the drive way, I get out and open the passenger door, lifting her out and taking her to the front door.

"You got a key?" I ask, she opens the door with a key from around her neck, I open the door and walk in, walking up the stairs.

"Third door on the left." She speaks softly, I nod and smile, opening the third door on the left. It's a small room with the wall painted green. Practically everything is green.

"I think someone likes green." I state as I lay her down on the bed. She scowls.

"Yes I do. But thanks. It means a lot." She yawns as she snuggles into her covers.

"No problem, Greenie." I grin and stand. She pouts.

"Don't call me that." I laugh and smile, she closes her eyes. I sit on her desk chair and wait for her breathing to become steady so I can leave.

After a little while her breathing is finally steady so I know she's asleep. I stand up and walk over to her, I smile and move a piece of hair out of her face, I bend down and kiss her forehead.

"Goodnight Greenie."
