<Ehi loser! See ya tomorrow! >shouted Elise, as her friends waved at me grinning, as the stupid dolls they are. My wavy dark hair fell in front of my eyes, the eyes that everyone hate. I don't have friends and it's not my fault, surprisingly. I never really was a shy girl, I always tried to talk to other students, but they just ignored me. It's been eight years since I've started going to school here. Eight years ago my life was better because of her, the one who teached me how to play the guitar, the one who teached me how to be happy and who teached me how to love, how to appreciate life.

After fifteen minutes, I've arrived at home. Delia, or mom, was taking care of the garden. I giggled, it's rarely not to see her here, with Mr.Mime.
Delia looked over me and waved. <Crystal, honey, welcome back!>she said as she hugged me. I was quite taller than she. She looked up at me with her wonderful brown eyes, as some hair fell in front of her. She then looked at me worried <How was school today?>I sighed.
I don't want her to worry too much about me. <As usual mom.>
<My talk with the principal wasn't enough, right?>she sighed sweatdropping. I gave her a quick kiss in the check, as I've started walking towards home. <Just mean guys. You know, in a school like this, girls without make-up are losers, and personally this is only a cliché bullshit.> I said in a calm tone.
<Crystal, language!>she shouted angrily. <Sorry mom, but it's true.>

Finally, Ash and Pikachu arrived, but they were one hour late. I picked up Pikachu and started hugging him, while Ash facepalmed. <Ehm hello big sis. I know that Pikachu is cuter than me, but you can me too!>I ruffed his hair. <Yes Pikachu is cuter, you're right my dense bro!> I continued <Mom is probably angry because you are late!>.
He huffed <You know, Clemont always invents new inventions, and since I think science is wonderful, I have to test them and then blow up! >
<Oh yeah I understand. It means your whole existence.>I joked. <Tell mom!>.

After mom lectured Ash, a letter arrived. I went to take it and I've almost had a heart attack when I've saw where it comes from. Lumiose city. I gulped as I started hoping it wasn't him. Fortunately it wasn't him, but a principal from one of the most prestigious highschool in all Kalos.
The Parfum Lumiose Highschool. I've heard a lot about this school. It's the oldest in Kalos, built 300 years ago, a school of elite where only a small group of teenagers can enter. From the photo, it seems like a royal palace. There are people who said that after that school, you can enter in whatever university you wish.

I shook my head from the thought and returned at the letter. It was handwritten. While reading, I've realised that there are two really important things. A scholarship for Ash and my admission to the school. My eyes widened as I started jumping like the crazy person I am, but I don't care. I continued reading. They saw I've had a lots of credits, I was a volunteer in a hospital, I was one of the best in my swimming club and I had very good grades, one of the best of the school. I rushed inside the home and saw Andrew sat at the table. He sighed. <Tell me, Mankey, why were you jumping like an idiot?> he asked with a smile. <Look who was admitted at a prestigious school!>
His eyes widened. < I'm so happy for you.>he says in disbelief. Then laughed <Perfect! Delia, Ash, come here one second!>
After Andrew explained, Ash and Pikachu rushed in their room, as they did the luggage. <Don't forget your underwears!>shouted mom and I giggled, thinking how Ash's face was in this moment.

<I don't think we need luggages. We'll stay here, right mom? I mean we can catch the train.>I said. Mom and Andrew looked each other, then turned to me.
<Crystal, we are going to live at Lumiose.>Andrew said. <Oh well, if there are rooms to sleep at school then ok. But you Andrew are too old to stay there, so where are you going to sleep?> I asked innocent as a kid. But I already suspect where.
<Stop acting ignorant! We are returning at Lumiose at our home!>
<This is our home!> I argued back. <Why would he want us after he neglected us after mother's death!>
His grey eyes were filled with sadness at the mention of our biological mother, but he recomposed.
<Listen, this is important for the both of us. You can join a prestigious school and start a new life, while I'll help our father with his research. He told me that we can stay at the lab, since it's our real home. Let's give a second chance to our life.>he said softly the last part.
I nodded sad and went upstairs, starting preparing the luggage.

After dinner, I went to my room and listened some music. Then mom opened the door, sitting on my bed.
<Ash seemed so much happy earlier.>I started, thinking about my Lil bro. <Yes, and when he discovered that Clemont is going to that school he was even happier. You should have seen Pikachu. Eh, that little buddy.>we laughed. Then I turned serious, looking in my other side. <Do you hate my father?>I asked suddenly. No response. Stupid girl! Why should I ask something so stupid!?I ruined the atmosphere. Again.
But I still continued.

<You were my mother's best friend, and her husband left his two sons to you. I mean, he couldn't deal with the sorrow, but neither Andrew and I. We needed him, and he barely wrote letters and the last time I've saw him was the day after mother's funeral.>
<I was a bit angry at him.>she admitted.
<You are a wonderful mother, don't get me wrong. I recognised in you my mother, and I'll surely miss you.>
<I'll visit you every month.> mom said. She embraced me then laughed. <You look a lot like your mother.>she said, knowing how much I liked it.
Then she turned of the light.
<Goodnight sweetheart. >
<Goodnight mom.>
