Nathaniel Ryder woke up in an abandoned alley in outskirts of New York City. It was pitch black out, except for the city lights at the end of the alley. He felt very cold, which he thought it meant he stayed here for a long while.

Nathaniel reached up to rub his neck that was aching from the position he woke up in. He felt two small holes in his neck.

'How the hell did I get these holes in my neck?' he said mentally.

All of sudden, he started to feel more alive. More alive than he had in a long time. Nathaniel started to feel a thirst for something. Something that he had no idea what he craved for.

A memory flashed through his mind.

He was in the same alley he awoken in. Nathaniel was going to a party with his cousin's best friend. His cousin left earlier than him, and left a note saying that his best friend will pick him up. His friend apparently lived in the same street as Nathaniel.

Nathaniel had no clue what his cousin's friend's name was, but he chose to trust him because his cousin made good choices in friends. Nathaniel did feel at the time that he could trust the guy. He was about a year old than him.

Nathaniel also had passing thought of the guy's attractiveness. He feels frustrated since he was a gay in a closet and in the neighborhood, he was a frowned upon for his sexuality. He grew more drawn into himself.

Nathaniel could feel the heavy gaze of the mysterious no-name guy. Nathaniel avoided his gaze for a few minutes before he couldn't handle the gaze anymore and turned towards it.

“What's your name?” Nathaniel asked casually.

The no-name guy responded. “My name's Lucas-Sebastian. My parents couldn't decide if what should be my name. May I ask what is your name, lovely?”

Nathaniel blushed when he was called 'lovely.' He responded quietly, “My name Nathaniel-Alexander. Please, call me Nathaniel, though. It's my birth name. I was adopted and my name became Blake.”

“Have you ever met your real parents?” Lucas asked. Nathaniel shook his head in response.

“I was left at a orphanage back in Seattle. I have flashes of a memory that I was forcibly taken from my mom when I was six years-old and the next memory was of me being left at the orphanage by a man in a black cloak.”

Nathaniel was always remembering the memories that he had left of his mother. Especially the one with his mom screaming, “No, not my little baby. Please, don't take Baby Nate away!” That was the worst memory that he had of his mother. His father is he remembered faintly went missing the year before he was taken away from his mother.

Nathaniel was thoughts were interrupted when he felt something cold and sharp grazing his neck. Nathaniel began to immediately realize that it was Lucas' teeth and the realization came onto him that Lucas was some sort of supernatural creature.

Before Nathaniel had the chance to tell Lucas to get away from him, the teeth he felt on his neck plunged into his neck, causing Nathaniel to feel immense pain in his neck. He was slowly losing conscious from the blood loss.

Nathaniel's memories, as he was losing consciousness, seemed to come back to him. The memories that he lost from his childhood. Those of his mother and father. Also, most of the memories of the man who kidnapped him. Nathaniel suddenly remembers everything.

Nathaniel suddenly lost consciousness from the blood loss and all the memories than came to abruptly.
