Gon and Killua finally made it to the house.

But it was dark out.

"MITO-SAN!!!" Gon called.

"Gon! Where have you been!" Mito-san said rushing out the door. "I've been worried sic-" She stopped when she saw the boy standing behind Gon.

"Oh? And what might your name be, sweetie?" She asked him.

"This is Killua!" Gon said. "I met him in the woods!"

"So THAT'S why you're both so dirty! Go take a bath! Both of you!" She said pushing them towards the bathroom.

Killua resisted the pushing.

"B-both of us? T-together?!" Killua stuttered.

Gon and Mito turned to him. "Is there a problem with that?" Mito asked.

"Killua's pretty shy, Mito-san." Gon explained.

"Oh! Don't worry. You can take it separately if you'd like!" Mito said.

"Y-yeah. I'd like that." Killua muttered back to her, embarrassed.

Gon looked at Killua and smiled. "Okay then. You can go first!" He said.

Killua nodded and followed Mito into the bathroom. She filled the tub with water and showed Killua where the soaps were.

When she left, she found Gon sitting on the couch with steam coming out of his ears.

"Is something wrong?" She asked the boy.

"Mmhh? Yeah," he replied. "Earlier, Killua said that his birthday is next year in three days." Gon turned to face the woman. "What does that mean, Mito-san?"

Mito giggled at the confused little boy. "It means that his birthday is in three days, Gon!" She chimed.

"EHHHH?!?!" Gon yelled. He sat for a moment before slapping himself in the face. "How come I didn't think of that?!" He moaned.

Gon saw some white fluff and an eye poking from behind the wall. It was trembling, as if he was silently laughing...

"Hey! It's not funny!" Gon cried.

The fluff shook even harder. Gon pouted, then smiled mischievously.

He crept over to where Killua hiding and started tickling him.

"Nyao!" Killua sqealed and fell to the floor.

Gon continued tickling, his hand accidentally brushing Killua's lower regions.

Killua blushed for a moment before squealing and laughing again.

After a while of tickling, Mito decided to save Killua from Gon's wiggly fingers. She looked at the clock and realized how late it was.

"Gon. I think it's time for Killua to go home now. His parents must be worried!" She said.

Then Mito felt tension in the room.

"Umm... Mito-san..." Gon started.

Mito raised an eyebrow.

"...I don't have a home." Killua finished.

Mito's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh..." She said.

"And I had been thinking... that m-maybe... Killua could live with us?" Gon stated hesitantly.

"Hmm? Izzat so?" Mito stated bluntly.
"Y-yeah, you know, since he has no home." Gon awkwardly said. His foot was swinging back and forth. Killua had started moving towards the door.
Mito smiled softly. "Well, alright then. He can stay."

Gon breathed a sigh of relief while Killua sunk to the floor. This conversation had made him feel dizzy and exhausted.

Mito laughed at the boys. "Now it's time to go to bed you two." Mito said.

"M'kay Mito-san." Gon said, the thought of sleep making him exhausted.

Gon picked up Killua and carried him up to his room.

"Good night, boys,"Mito whispered.
