One Year Gone By

Today was the day of the VMAs and also Alex and Perrie's one year anniversary of being together officially. Perrie had decided to take Alex to the VMAs with her as he had never been to an award show besides from football.

Perrie quickly took pictures with Jesy, Jade and Leigh on the red carpet until she was finally able to take pictures with her boyfriend. Perrie could tell that he was nervous about having his picture taken by so many cameras, so she gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Just relax." Perrie said to Alex quietly, smiling up at him. After posing beside one another for a few minutes, Alex's nerves went away because he knew that his soulmate was standing right next to him. He was sure that he was going to marry Perrie one day.

Alex turned to face Perrie and pulled her closer to him.
"Happy one year."
Alex put his lips on Perrie's and the cameras went wild as they kissed passionately.

Later that night, Alex and Perrie were sitting on a round table with Jesy, Jade and Leigh and their boyfriends as they waited. Little Mix had been nominated for an award for their music video for Power, and were all nervous to see if they won.

"The winner for the most popular music video of 2017 is..." The host spoke into the microphone as the audience went quiet in suspense.
"Little Mix ft. Stormzy- Power!"

A smile was brought onto everyone's faces as the girls stood up to go and receive their award.

"Thank you so much for this!" Jesy said happily into the microphone.
"You have no idea how much this means to us girls. The music video for Power was an extremely long video to record and we put our all into it."

"Also, while we are up here, I would like to congratulate miss Perrie here and her amazing boyfriend Alex on being together for a year. Such an amazing milestone, and there's many more milestones for them to pass together as a couple. I love you both a heap, so congratulations."

Perrie stepped forward to speak into the microphone as she looked at Alex who was sitting at the table with a massive smile on his face.

"Thank you lovely Jesminda! I just want to say; Alex, I'm so so happy whenever I'm with you. I've never been this happy. Thank you for being the most amazing boyfriend in all the lands, my mega pro football player. I love you."
