Hello my lovelies ;)

Soldier Cruickshank reporting for duty from District 12.

Haha sorry! Just had to say that as I am obsessed with the Hunger Games. *embarrassed face..*

Anyways, might be uploading a lot less as I am currently going to choir and we have to stay behind after school some days because we are doing the dances from Just Dance 3 for a concert or something hehe! Can’t wait.  Anyways, was watching Taken and Liam Neeson is from Northern Ireland! ,Mwhahaha.

Song of the day; Nero-In The Way.

Before I could hit the ice cold, wet ground, strong arms caught me. I was small but not that small and ‘the person’ slipped too when ‘he’ caught me. I’m guessing it was a ‘him’ because no girl can catch me from an upstairs window-sill and have no broken bones. Unless she was a female body instructor- type- person.

Oh my mind is not thinking straight.

I looked up from my position on the ground tangled in someone’s arms and did the most graceful thing ever. Most girl’s would batter their eyelashes or sit up and say ‘I’m so sorry!’ but I sneeze in the face of my rescuer. To be honest I didn’t care. I was tired.

‘Someone’ groaned underneath me and I knew who it was.

 Jeremy.

‘Why is your ass on my body?’, he sounded like he was smirking. I could tell he was.

‘Why is your body under my ass?’

I sounded bitter. Good I thought.

‘Okay cut the crap and get up’, he commanded.

I did as I was told and got up. I was even more soaked and could tell I would have a blocked nose, a cold and a sore throat for weeks on end.

The rain was still lashing down.

‘What are you still doing here?’, I asked. Not even hiding the fact that I was annoyed at his presence in my backyard.

‘First, can I come inside?’

I was shocked at first, that Jeremy Hayworth would want to come into my house and the fact that he had the decency to ask. I mean, where was his bad boy aura? Did he think I was that vulnerable that I would hook up with him? The nerve.

‘I-‘

‘Look I don’t want to hook up with you or anything like that. I just want to propose and idea to you that might take a while of explaining. And since we’re standing out here getting soaked to our skin, I thought it would be easier on you’.

I was about to come out with some snotty remark-

‘And I did save your life’.

A frown appeared on my face as I processed his words. That’s right he did. ‘Fine’, I sighed.

‘Just let me open the door... ’

As I began my climb again, he stated ‘parents not home?’

‘nope’, I popped the ‘p’ and this time I was at my window again. He didn’t follow up on my answer but can out with a sarcastic remark. ‘Don’t fall this time princess’

I rolled my eyes and jumped through the part of the window that was open wider from my previous attempt. Even though I couldn’t see him, I could tell that he is thinking about a way to embarrass me. As if I’m not embarrassed enough.

Why aren’t you sending him home! My conscience screamed at me. I don’t know. Like I said I can’t think straight and I was curious as to what he wanted to talk about. Probably and me and Josh thing. Maybe offer me pity sex.

Then I remembered what he said I’m not here to hook up with you or anything. I relaxed a little bit.

I unlocked the door and opened it to find him not there. I peered out into my backyard but not a trace. I stepped back into my utility room that led to the back door and strong arms engulfed around me. Their hands around my mouth to not scream.

I breathed heavy into the hands. My eyes wide, with anticipation.

The arms loosened and let me go. I stepped away and twirled around immediately. To be honest I wasn’t surprised who was standing there with a big ass jerk smile on his bad ass face.

‘Ha-ha! You should’ve seen your face!’. Jeremy bent low on his stomach as if he were taking a bow and doubled over in laughter.

‘Look.’, I started,’ Why are you here? I get it that you want to talk to me but don’t take the piss especially at a time like this. I’m cold. Hungry. Boyfriend-and best friend-less and I don’t need crsp from you. I’m tired so make this quick’, I snapped angrily.

‘That’s what I wanted to talk to you about. You’re boyfriend-less-‘

‘You don’t think I know that!’, I screamed.

He sighed and shook his head.

You know what? Screw this bullshit and talking in code. I walked past Jeremy and into my kitchen and made myself super noodles. I was starving and this was my house. We could finish our conversation here and then he can go.

He walked in behind me after I had finished putting the noodles in the microwave for about five minutes.

‘I want to help’, he said sternly. His eyes not meeting mine.

‘How?’

‘Look, Carly was my girlfriend. Well not really but we were hooking up and not just the usual way. I mean, I liked her. A lot. I felt something and it really pissed me off that she ‘cheated’ on me with a loser like Josh’.

‘Josh isn’t a loser’. I stated matter of factly.

‘Look at you!’, Josh screamed.

I jumped a little at the outburst.

‘He cheated on you and yet, you’re still defending him!’. Jeremy looked like he wanted to throw or punch some or maybe both.

‘What do you want from me!’ I yelled back. There is no way this guy is just going to walk into my house, scream at me and tell me what I should think.

He was quiet for a minute and then pulled out a cigarette. He was about to light it when I snapped it from him in mere seconds.

I gave him a look that said not in my house you don’t, bucko. He seemed to understand, or atleast I hoped so he wouldn’t pull out another one.

‘I wasn’t us to fake date’

I was stunned. Glued to the floor as my microwaved noodles dinged in the microwave.

‘Get out’. I whispered slowly.

‘What!?’

‘I said Get Out!’

I took his arm and he must have been co-operating with me because I had dragged him out of my house before you could say fake date.

I shut the door, locked it and sank down to the bottom of it onto the floor on my utility room. Did he think I was that easy to trick? I don’t want to hook up.. Oh sureeee/

I felt angry and exhausted again so I dragged myself upstairs and fell into bed.

I looked at my pillow. There was a piece  of paper ripped out of my notebook on the desk. So that’s what took him so long to come down.

In it was a note say ‘Consider my offer?’

How did he know I was going to say no? Of course I was. It was Jeremy Hayworth. The badass. I was so predictable and he knew I was and never even talked to me before. On the bottom of the note was his cell phone number. I was going to call him tomorrow.

And I was going to say yes.
