Y/N's POV

"Good morning everybody!" I greeted my class, Class C, the general study.

I heard a few collective 'good morning' from my classmate as I went to my seat, right next to my crush, Shinsou Hitoshi.

I smiled brightly at him. "Good morning, Shinsou." He hummed in response and muttered a 'good morning class rep.'

"Oi, I told you don't call me class rep. Y/N is just fine." He sighed, then turned away from me. Meanie.

The day went by as per usual and before I knew it, the class ended and everybody was leaving.

"Shinsou, wait for me! Let's walk home," I called out. He stopped right before exiting the door.

"Fine, I'll wait for you at the shoe locker." I gave him a thumbs up.

As soon as I was done packing a few of my classmates' tap on my shoulder. "Hey, Y/N, why do you always talk to Shinsou? I mean, you do know his quirk, right?" one of them said.

"His quirk? It was brainwashing, right? Why do you ask?" I replied.

"Well," she glances at her other comrades. "Everybody thinks he, you know, brainwashed you into talking to him." Guilt and concerned was all over their faces.

"Oh, no worries. Everything's fine. I talk to him because I wanted to," I reassured them.

"Ok.. If you said so. I mean, it's just weird that both of your quirks are opposites," the other one muttered.

"Brainwashing and healing aren't opposite though," I sighed, starting to feel annoyed at their presence. He's not a monster.

"No, Y/N, I mean your quirk is obviously for a hero. But his... Uh.. I'm not so sure," One of them winced.

"I think one day he'll be a villain. And I'm scared All Might won't be around anymore to stop him." A few people around us shot concerned looks.

"Hey, that's enough. I believe Shinsou will be a great hero." Pushing them aside, I look over my shoulder to glare at them before I completely leave the classroom. "You know, judging someone isn't something a real hero does."

"Y/N do you perhaps like Shinsou?" The last one, who was quite the whole time whispered. Our eyes widen, I could feel the blood rushing.

"Yeah.. Y/N does look like she has a thing for Shinsou."

"T-That's enough you guys! Come on let's leave it's started to get dark already," I quickly left the room. Am I that obvious? Damn, no wonder Shinsou's always reluctant to talk to me.

When I reached the shoe locker nobody was there. "Shinsou?" I called out, but nobody answered. I opened his locker to see that his outdoor shoes were gone. Sighing, changing my shoes, and left.

On my way back I noticed a purple-haired guy walking far from me. "Shinsou? Heeeey! I said wait for me!!" I screamed as I ran fast. He just turned to me and clicked his tongue.

"Get away from me."

My eyes widen at his words. "What?" I grabbed his arm. "Shinsou what're you talking abo—"

"Just leave me alone!" he pulled his arm away rather harshly. Leaving me standing alone, dumbfounded.

"Hey stop!" I called out to him but he kept walking. I mustered the courage to run after him again. "What's wrong?"

He kept quiet. I shook his arm, "Answer me!" Still, silent.

I was on the verge of tears, "Shins—" I covered my mouth, my voice cracked. Finally, he looked at me. I could still see the worried look in his eyes even if my sight was blurry because of the tears. "T-Tell me what's w-wrong."
