chapter 15

Ashton's POV

We were called down to the police station the next morning to tell them what happened. and they told us that Andrew was going to be locked up for a long time so we shouldn't worry about him.

I was thinking to my self that I couldn't bear to lose Amelia anymore. I need her. she's my first and will be my last love. I want her to be my wife. I want to live with her in a big house with our kids running around. now is the perfect time.

I went to Amelia's house so I can talk to her parents. she was sleeping in her room so it was just her parents and I sitting in the living room.

"Ashton, I'm so thankful Amelia has you in her life." her mother said

" Mr and Mrs. Anderson, the truth is I came here today to ask you something." I said

"Sure son, what is it?" Mr.Anderson asked me

"Actually my parents are on their way so ill tell you all when they get here." I replied

After about 5 minutes, the bell rang. my parents arrived.

I started sweating. Oh jeez..

They said there hello's and took a seat.

"Ashton son, why did you gather all of us here?" My mother asked

"Uhum,  well you see, I wanted to ask Mr and Mrs. Anderson something and I wanted you to be here as well." I answered my mother.

" Ok son, what can I help you with?" Mr.Anderson asked me.

"Mr and Mrs. Anderson, I love Amelia. she is my first and will be my last love. I will love her until the day I die, that's a promise. I cant live without her, I need her. I need to be with her. so all I'm asking is your daughter's hand in marriage and I really wish I can get all your blessings." I said really quickly.

My parent's smile was so wide I couldn't even believe it.

" You have our blessing, honey" My parents both said to me.

I thanked them and looked at Amelia's parents.

"All I need is your blessing now." I said

"Son, you have our blessing. I don't need to tell you what I would do if you hurt my little girl because I know you would never hurt her. Congratulations." Mr.Anderson said while breaking into a smile.

" Thank you!! I promise she won't be anything but happy." I said while smiling.

Everyone in the room started hugging and congratulating each other.

"I'm inviting you all to dinner tonight." I then said.

" Oh, well we better go get ready then." my mother said while grabbing her purse.

"well see you tonight then." Mrs. Anderson said while hugging my mother goodbye.

"See you tonight." I said while heading out.

This has to be perfect.

4 hours later

We were at our special restaurant seated at a round table. Amelia was beside me, and she looked beautiful. Our parents were looking at me waiting u ntill I proposed. so I knew it was time.

I stood up and pulled Amelia up as well.

She looked confused.

I then bent down on one knee and pulled out the box with the diamond ring and opened it.

Everyone in the restaurant was now staring at us and Amelia had her hands over her mouth shocked.

"Amelia, I love you. you are my first and will be my last love. I will love you until the day I die, that's a promise. I cant even imagine what life would be without you. I don't even want to imagine it. I need you in my life. Amelia Anderson, will you do the honours of marrying me?" I asked

"Yes!! Of course!!" she answered

I got up and hugged her and kissed her. Everyone in the room was clapping for us and yelling out congrats. This has been the best day ever.
