"Why did we ever break up in the first place?" I asked Josh, hugging him tightly.
"I don't know. All I know is we're perfect for each other!"
"Definitely!"
"I have to ask you a serious question though," he told me.
"Shoot!"
"Okay, here goes. Emilee, we've been dating again for over a year, and Chase is a year and a half, and you told me to ask you again once he was a year and a half, and now that he is, I will ask you. Emilee Marie Pearson, I love you more than words could describe. You're beautiful, intelligent, hilarious, and you laugh at the most boringest things. I love that about you, the love of my life. Will you do the honour of being my wife?"
"I'd love to," I cried, then leaped into his arms and kissed him.
"Now all of the family will be Michaels! You, Chase, and I!"
"I love you so much, Josh."
"I love you so much more."
"Not true. But this might be a perfect time to announce it. I'm pregnant!" I giggled.
I screamed, and sat up immediately. My heart was beating one hundred times a minute, and tears were coming out of my eyes.
The door shot open and in came a huge Melissa.
"Why'd you scream?!"
"I had a nightmare," I breathed, looking around and realizing it was a nightmare.
"Damn woman! It's four in the morning, would you let a lady sleep?"
"How far along are you?" I ignored her.
"Thirty four weeks today, why?"
"You look huge!" My eyes widened.
"Thanks," Melissa replied sarcastically, sitting in front of me in bed.
"When's the baby shower?"
"In two days."
"What about the wedding?" I asked her.
"Next week. How could you forget?!"
"I don't know," I shrugged.
"What was your nightmare about?"
"Josh, me, marriage, baby," I mumbled, really tired.
"You've been having lots of dreams about Josh lately."
"How do you know that?"
"I'm your sister," she replied simply.
"And I'm yours, but I can't tell if you have dreams about Tyler," I confessed.
"You also have been screaming Josh in your sleep."
"Really?" I blushed.
"Do you like him or something?"
"What? No."
"Emilee, I think you like him, and because your single now, you can date him," Mel winked at me.
"He asked me out a month ago, but I turned him down."
"Why don't you tell me things anymore?"
"Because I feel a lot more independent now," I answered truthfully.
"Why'd you turn Josh down?"
"I told him I just got out of a relationship and wasn't looking forward to one for a while."
"But you like him."
"I know."
"Ha!" she shouted, pointing to me and laughing.
"Dammit," I laughed.
"Awe, make me an aunt to more children! Let's hope it's a girl this time. I would like a boy, too, but I love the name Ava," Melissa smiled.
"You can name your child that," I told her.
"If it's a girl."
"I like the name Ava," I admitted.
"For a girl, I love the names Addison, Alice, Alysha, Lindsey, Layla, Mackenzie, Emma, Brooklyn, Amelia, Chelsey, Shelby, Jocelyn, Jessica, Natalie, or Kaylee."
"Wow, that's lots."
"Yeah. For a boy, I like Matthew, Zach, Ethan, Christopher, and James," Melissa smiled.
"Cute names."
"Thanks."
"I honestly don't know what to do anymore," I frowned, pushing myself back and resting on top of my bed.
"What do you mean?"
"I like Josh, I really do, but all the bs he's put me through, I don't know if I should be with him again."
"So you don't trust him?"
"Not really," I confessed.
Melissa hugged me really tightly. "I would give you advice, but I don't know what to say, so just follow your heart, it'll lead you where you want to be. Now, I am super tired, so I will be going to bed now. Don't wake me up again or I will stab you in the eye with a pitchfork multiple times. Good night."
"Night," I laughed and watched as Melissa left. I took out my phone and texted Josh.
'Why?' Josh texted back.
'Because I'm bored, and we gotta talk'
'-.- open your window then'
I got out of bed and opened my window, and Josh climbed through the window.
"Why'd you want me to come over at four thirty in the morning?" Josh rubbed his eyes. He looked sexy with his baggy red plaid pyjama pants and white muscle shirt.
I walked to my bed, and laid down. Josh laid down beside me and I turned to my left side, and faced him. He didn't look at me, he just kept looking at the ceiling.
"You know, you broke your promise," Josh muttered.
"What promise?" I questioned, confused.
"You promised to marry me once you were eighteen. You're nineteen now."
"Sorry, I was really young when I made that promise."
"I know. I was just really hoping you would have kept the promise," he finally made eye contact with me.
"I wish I would have, too," I frowned, seeing the disappointment in his eyes making me want to cry.
"Don't cry."
"I want to." A tear escaped my eye. Josh put his left hand on the left side of my face and brushed away the tear with his thumb. Then he leaned in.
"Sorry," he backed away and removed his hand once his lips were inches from mine.
"Let's go for a walk."
"At this time of day?"
"Sure, why not?" I shrugged.
Josh got out of bed, and so did I.
Josh's POV
I'm kind of nervous to go on a walk with her, I don't know why. Maybe I won't be able to resist myself from her. In bed, I just had enough power to resist her.
"Where's Chase?" I asked.
"Sleeping in the nursery."
"Okay."

"What if?" Emilee questioned.
"What if what?"
"What if I did agree... to marrying you...?"
I didn't exactly know how to answer that, so this is what I came up with; "Are you agreeing to marry me?"
"No."
"If you did confirm to marry me, then we'd be married."
"Do you want to marry me?" She asked.
"Of course. Do you want to marry me?"
"I don't kn-"
"Please? All this drama will go away, and you'll be happier, Chase will be happier, and I will be happier. Emilee, just please, marry me?" I begged.
"Give me sometime to think, okay?"
"I'd give you all the time in the world to answer."
"That's all I ask for."
I thought at that moment that she would finally be mine again, but no.
I don't get why she wouldn't have agreed in the first place. I still love her, and I'm pretty sure she still loves me. So why can't she be my wife? I don't know, it's a pretty messed up world now a days.
"Sorry."
"It's okay," I shrugged, secretly being hurt and mad.
"Josh, I know it's not."
I saw Emilee was shivering, so I hugged her.
"Do you want to go home?" I asked her.
"Do you want to?"
"It's up to you," I told her.
"Sure. Can we go swimming tomorrow?"
"Don't you mean today?" I smirked.
"Yeah, whatever."
"I don't care."
We continued walking home and talked about random things.
"Will you be my date for Melissa's wedding?" Emilee asked me.
"Lots of weddings I have to attend."
"So you don't want to?"
"No, I'll go with you," I grinned.
"Yay!"
"Someone's happy?"
"Yeah."
"I don't really want Chase to not have any actual brothers or sisters, I know exactly how it feels and it sucks," I randomly said.
"Wasn't Amy pregnant with your baby?"
"Yeah, but she had an abortion."
"So, Chase would have had a half brother or sister," Emilee told me.
"That's true."
"I- I can't trust you anymore, I'm sorry."
I quickly looked at her in disbelief. "Why not?"
"After you cheated on me, I felt useless to you, and I haven't really trusted you. The only reason I don't want to marry you is because you're a player, and because you you've already cheated on me, so I think you'd have an affair."
"Emilee, I've made many mistakes in the past, and I can't change them, because that is what makes me who I am today. Everyday, I regret cheating on you, and breaking up with you. But now I'm glad I did," I explained.
"Oh, so you're happy me and you aren't together?"
"Yeah, because you're my soon to be wife, and I'm not taking no for an answer," I smiled at her, then quickly kissed her on the lips. I pulled away and saw we were at our houses. "Would you look at that, we're at home. Night babe. Love you." Then I walked inside with the huggest grin on my face.
Emilee's POV
What just happened...?
I'm not getting married. Josh better take no for an answer because there's no way, and no how I am getting married to him after he told me he was glad we weren't together.
I slowly walked inside. I could feel Josh looking at me, so to annoy him, I had a huge smile on my face.
I got a horrible feeling in my stomach, and ran to the bathroom.
This is like the thousand time I have gone to the bathroom to vomit! It's stupid and annoying. The alcohol is probably still in me or something that's causing me to be sick.

"Awe! That's so cute!" Melissa smiled, holding up a bib that said 'Feed me, I'm hungry'. "Thanks, Aunt Jen."
"No problem, sweetie."
She opened another present, and there was three bottles, and some pacifiers.
I got her a little pink dress, and a pair of brown overalls and a white shirt because I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, and a pack of diapers.
She opened it, then hugged me. "Thank you! I love them."
The door bell rang, and Dana got up to answer it. While she was gone, we continued with the baby shower.
She opened a pair of shoes, and some socks, and baby toys.
"Thank you, Aunt Mary."
"Emilee!" I heard Dana shout.
"I'll be back," I excused myself and got up and was just about to leave, when Dana came through the door. She was holding a huge pack of red roses.
"They're for you," she handed them to me and I read the card. It said 'For you, my soon to be wife. I love you -Josh <3'
I took out my phone, and texted Josh saying 'I hate you :)', smiled, then sat down.
