Jack's POV:
i cup her chin in my hands. she lowers her phone and looks into my eyes. her eyes start to water again and she looks down.

"i can't talk to you right now." she whispers.

"i am so sorry daniella."

"why are you sorry?" she asks, looking up.

"for treat-"

"no. you aren't." she cuts me off.

"yes-"

"no. you don't love me. you may like me. but you wouldn't do the things you do if you love someone."

"daniella-" i sigh. she is breaking my heart into little tiny pieces. she lowers her head even more and i move my hands into my lap. tears start to fall from my cheeks and i sigh. i actually love this girl. i can't believe i did this shit to mess it up...

"hey, let's make a deal."

"what?" she asks, not looking up.

"we kiss-"

"no."

"wait, listen..." i start again,

"if the spark isn't there i will leave you alone."

"okay?" i ask. daniella lifts her chin up and sighs. she nods slowly and i scoot closer to her. i rest one hand on her chin and the other on her neck. she leans forward and i connect our lips. my heart starts to beat faster and i pull her closer. she separates and starts to cry.

"daniella, why are you crying?" i whisper.

"because you never said what would happen if there is a spark." she sighs. i wipe her tears away and push her head back up. i pull out a small box and hand it to her. she removes the bow and flips open the top.

"i'm not proposing. it's a promise ring. i promise i love you and only you." i whisper. she smiles slightly and gives me a hug.

"when did you get this?" she asks.

"um, it was kinda like the day after everything happened and i realized i almost lost you." i whisper. she nods and slips on the small infinity ring.

"now let's get your stuff to my room, baby." i grab her hand her luggage and lead her to my room. i go to get my key card and realize i don't have an empty hand.

"dani, can you grab my key card?" i ask. she nods slowly and reaches down to my jean's pocket. her hand grazes down my thigh and grabs the card. she unlocks the door and i set down her luggage and then pick her up quickly. she gasps and i chuckle slightly. i close the door with my foot and carry her over to the bed.

"i am going to go change." i whisper. she nods and i enter the bathroom. i hear some shuffling and pray she isn't escaping. when i go back into the sleeping area, she is laying down on her phone with the blanket up to her chin.

"cold?" i chuckle. she nods her head and scoots over.

"i know how to warm you up..." i smirk.

"jack!" she yells, smacking my shoulder.

"i was talking about cuddling chill."

"no you weren't and you aren't gettin' any."

"damn, i was hoping for some makeup sex." i chuckle and move closer to the bed.

"jack, you always want to have sex." she says, rolling her eyes.

"no." i shake my head. she creases her eyebrows and shakes her head. i lay down next to her and wrap my arms around her waist.

"i still want to..." i whisper biting her earlobe lightly. she closes her eyes release a deep breath.

"you know i can't hold in my desire..." i whisper. she shakes her head and turns around in my arms.

"please, it's vacation..." i whisper.

"everyone is next door..." she whines.

"we'll be quiet." i try to convince her.

"i don't know gilinsky, you always said-"

"babygirl, i'll have you screaming until morning." i interrupt and smirk. her face flushes red and she nods.

"yeah, and with both of our best friends next door that is a no." she giggles.

"okay, no sex but can we at least just mess around?" she sighs and kisses me lightly while rubbing my jaw with the pad of her thumb.

"baby, i'm ready but it seems rushed. i guess we could fool around but you scare me sometimes and i feel like if i do and i'm not good enough, you'll run off and find-"

"-woah. baby girl you are too good for me. i should be scared of losing you." i smile and roll her onto my abdomen.

"let's do it, fool around, i mean." she says and smiles.

"i love you jack gilinsky."

"and i love you daniella grace."
