Samantha
"Sammaaay" I hear my annoying best friend Niko yell from the kitchen. "Sammaaay" he insists. Running to the kitchen now thinking it might be serious. I find him crouched eye level with my over fed tabby cat, Thor. "Can you judge our staring competition?" he asks completely serious. Glaring, I march over to him & kick him over onto the ground.
"Take that as a no huh, Thor?" He murmurs to my cat. Looking into my halfway mirror, I put my hair up into a ponytail." Do you think he'll show?" I ask referring to my morning plans.
"I mean you have been stalking him for the past two months, you tell me," he retorts sarcastically.
Glaring at him while pulling on my brown combat boots to complement my jeans & loose gray tee that would perfectly conceal my 9mm." I mean last night was pretty crazy for him he might need to sleep in." I smirk, knowing that won't be the case. "Yeah, yeah you sure you don't want me to come?" he asks worried.
"No, I have to be alone, seeming vulnerable. I wouldn't want him to think I'm in a relationship." Hugging Niko, I grab my keys & bag. "Don't forget to feed Thor!"
Checking the time I decide to walk instead of taking my car.
Walking into Starbucks, I zero in on my target.

Waiting for Cesar is like waiting for rain in a drought. Knowing I won't get a good coffee at brunch, I head to Starbucks. As I walk into Starbucks, the smell of freshly brewed coffee puts a familiar smile on my face. There really isn't a better cure for a pounding headache then a black coffee.
As i approach the counter, Jenny the Barista, smiles flirtatiously asking if I would like the usual. Humoring her I nod while leaning in closer on the counter. Watching her swoon and stumble under my gaze amuses me for the time period it takes to get my coffee and pay.
Walking away from the counter to take my usual window seat that allows me clear view of my surroundings, a small body collides with my body sending my scalding coffee down my shirt and knocking over the small women that ruined the only good part of my Sundays.
"Ahhh Merda!! What the fuck is the matter with you?" I angrily ask her while she helps herself off the floor. She stands up, her head coming up to my pectorals, she really is a small little thing i think as she rushes to apologize and attempt to wipe my shirt. "I'm so sorry; I was just so preoccupied with getting my coffee I didn't watch where I was going"
She's cute, with long black hair pulled back from her face showing off her youthful features but going off her boobs and those subtle curves peeking out from those little shorts, she has to at least be legal.
Snapping her hands in my face "My eyes are up her buddy" she says. "Like you weren't doing the same" I flirt while smirking.
"Very funny, how about you sit down while i buy you a new drink" she demands. "Go sit" she insists while gently shoving me in the general direction of the tables.
I watch her as she smooth talks to guy in the front of the line to get our drinks. She's beautiful and sneaky, my kind of girl. As she makes her way to the table, I realize that she didn't give me a chance to tell her what coffee i wanted.
"So I got you black well.... because that's what I like to drink and i forgot to ask which is really dumb of me, i should have really been watching wher-". Putting my hand on her arm to silence her rambling "its okay, Black is my coffee of choice"
Sighing, she takes a seat without even asking if i wanted her company, not that i would deny such a pretty lady.
"So what's your name?" she asks. Not one to offer up information i take a second to answer. Deciding this little cute thing isn't a threat I tell her " Antonio Masen Patoli, you?"
"Ohhh Italian?" she questions. I nod in response. "Well I'm Samantha and its very nice to meet you" she says while reaching out to shake my hand. Shaking her hand, the fact that she didn't give me her last name does not escape my attention.
Just as I'm about to ask, she grabs my left wrist, flips it over and inquires about my tattoo. "This is so nice; hiding under umbrellas, dizzy dancing"
"To the grave" we say in unison. Smiling at me, I laugh.
"I don't know much people who get the reference, you're a nice breath of fresh air Samantha" I say to honestly.
She nods. Smiles and look down at her phone noticing the time.
"It really was nice meeting you Antonio but I have somewhere to be"
Getting up to leave, i rush after her remembering that I wanted to pay her back. Catching her just outside i scream wait, she turns around and waits to see what I have to say.
"Here your money back" i say pulling my wallet out of my pocket. She grabs my hand & declines' saying it was her pleasure.
She begins to walk off again "Wait" i call out. "Can i get your number?"
She laughs and shakes her head now walking backwards, "Can i at least get your last name?" i plead. Smiling she says "Its Tookes" she yells.
Honking startles me out of my staring. Pulling in front of the Starbucks is Cesar in his black Charger. "Get in" he yells.
"Heyyo Cuzzo" he says happily while pulling out into the busy street. "So I guess you don't need me to fill you in on last night anymore?' he says with a side glance and a smirk.
"Why wouldn't I?" i question confused. Pulling up to the red light, he turns to fully look at me with a confused look on his face. "Well that chick you were talking to outside is the one from last night..."
