Thank you all who have asked and requested! Really gave me something to do during the hours I was holed up in the library haha. Spent almost 3 hours there. It was worth the wait at the end though ;v;

Okay so the fills, starting from Q&A:

1. SpiderPrincess  I've used photoshop since I was a kid playing around in my dad's studio, but the first time I tried out digital art was in... 8th grade I think? I was like 13 and used to scan my pencil drawings and tried to color over it in photoshop. But I sucked and I hated using layers.

So in 10th grade I tried a different method which is digital painting in one layer

So in 10th grade I tried a different method which is digital painting in one layer. I liked that a lot more, but it was time consuming and knowing me, my paintings don't have the cleanest finish.

I've fallen in love with clean, lineless drawings this past year and have tried to draw like so. I'm experimenting with combining lineart + digital painting too. The works I make recently are in these styles. Just throwing things at the wall and see what works best for me haha

For how long I've dabbled in art, it would be for as long as I can remember... I'm not even romanticizing. I grew up with it. I remember copying shoujo mangas since 1st grade and studying how to draw manga books in like 3rd-5th grade haha. Only started to draw seriously in middle school though. Was highly influenced by Naruto, Bleach and One Piece in 7th grade but then decided to not draw manga anymore in 8th. That year I was very influenced by burdge's art (find her on tumblr and DeviantArt at burdge-bug! Know viria and a thousand other PJO/HP fanartists? They were also influenced by this woman's style). I read novels in the entirety of 9th grade and improved my anatomy (aka not drawing stick thin people anymore).

In 10th grade (freshman high school) I was active in fandom tumblr and learned a lot from online tutorials. Later on, I made my Instagram and drew at least one thing everyday. I was highly influenced by Instagram artists. 11th grade I started to like kpop a lot so I drew portraits and more "aesthetic" things haha. In 12th grade I look at my drawings and think, "huh. There's a style in there after all." Guess all my dabbling did shape up into something in the end. It's not a style I'm highly satisfied with but it is mine. I'm so happy you recognized I have somewhat of a fleshed out style! Makes me feel a bit proud and accomplished, hehe. I still need to polish it up more though, bc it's still quite inconsistent.
