Chapter one

I watched my human play with Sprinkles. The calico kit was the most annoying cat on the face of the earth!
I sighed getting to my paws walking away. "What are you doing Shadow?" My human asked. I hissed at her as she looked at me. I hated her, she lets me go hungry and will literally kick me off her bed! She only lets Sprinkles lay on her bed. "What?" The human said tilting her head. "I f@#*ing hate you!" I yowled knowing she wouldn't understand me, but I didn't care. She got up and petted me. I raked my claws into her paws. She yowled in pain and kicked me in the ribs. I screeched out in pain as I flew into a wall. I felt pain scorch through my body. I wanted to die, I hated my life, I hated Sprinkles. I didn't move as my human walked over to me, he paw was trickling with blood. I saw Sprinkles smiling. The human picked me up by my neck. "You've been a bad cat!" She yelled. I flattened my ears letting out a low growl. She walked by the door and opened it and threw me out into the snow. I stood out like a ball in a meadow. My black pelt stood out of the white and glittering snow. I closed my eyes as I felt everything go numb.

I woke up, I felt like I was asleep for hours. I stood up and looked around. I looked down, I almost yowled in terror. I was standing on myself but my paws were still in my body, I was transparent! I walked out of my body. I felt oddly warm. I ran up the steps into my old home and ran through the door. I saw Sprinkles asleep. I looked away as I saw my human watching TV while petting her. I sighed as tears slid down my face. "Why didn't she love me?" I thought. I stay here I guess...forever. I padded into the kitchen and saw my food bowl still there. I took a few sips of water. It didn't decrease at all. I sighed. I looked into the water seeing myself. I had a stary dark gray pelt with crystal blue stary eyes. I sighed as I walked into my humans room. It was a light purple with a fuzzy ground and a puffy bed. I leaped onto her bed to see a black square or rectangle thing with a colorful screen and a black cat with a waffle for his back. He had red eyes and gray or I think milk trailing behind him. I sighed, the box thing seemed warm, so I laid on it. I closed my eyes for a few moments and felt like I was sinking. I opened my eyes to see almost all of my body was sucked into the box. I yowled as I struggled to get free, I kept sinking! "Help help someone help!" I screeched as my claws gripped onto the edges. I saw Sprinkles in the door way running towards me. "Hold on!" She squeaked as she grabbed me by my neck, trying to pull me out but it was no use. I was sucked into the box and I seemed to be falling seeing Sprinkles face get smaller and smaller until it went black.
