I was sitting in the back of my dad's Huracan. The people in the car next to us were singing as their loud music bounced off my ears. My dad turned a sharp left turn into a ghost- like lane. I heard a hoot and thought how could a owl be awake at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. As my dad kept driving slowly through the dark gloomy lane i realised the placed looked as if it had a attack by a dragon or some horrible beast. My dad drove silently. I saw a newspaper flying past I opened my window quickly and caught it just in time. I read the title. 'HURRICANE ATTACKS CLOUDSDALE'. I tried reading through the first page but it was to smudged. I folded it up and put it in my grey pocket. I thought I saw a decapitated body but forgot about it after a while. Cluck cluck i thought i heard a chicken. There could not be any animals here, this place was!! This place was deserted. The sky was not blue anymore it was a dark scary blue. I was surprised my dad did not realise all this nonsense. I looked at him but he kept driving. Then he stopped the car at a sudden stop. He jerked open the door of our car and left. I sat there on the car seat waiting. Then I heard a crack a strange crack and a black blob starting coming out of the seat. It called my name by the time i could think what it was my dad came back. I told him about what i heard in the car and he said he would fix it and that it was a minor fault. Then we were finally out of this scary lane, we went to back home. I helped my dad with oil and we took it out. My dad insured me it was a spill and it should not happen again. I thanked my dad and then realized then what was that thing calling my name??
