~*~Harmony’s View~*~

Three years before the incident

Slowly and quietly, I made my way into mine and Kendall’s bedroom. Usually I’m not quiet in the mornings once it hits about eleven, as I find that a bit too late to be asleep unless you were up really late working on something important or major. It was now eleven thirty, but it was also our first anniversary of being married. The year sure did fly by, but it has been enjoyable and nothing but beautiful! Funny to think I use to hate Kendall, but yet still took the time to get to know him a bit better.

Silently, I climbed up onto the bed and stopped beside Kendall. I was about to gently push on him and say his name to get him to wake up, but thought that would somehow be a bit boring. Being careful not to touch him, I crawled on top of him, eventually just sitting down on his waist with a leg on each side of him. Seeing a faint smirk grow across his lips, I knew he was awake. Therefore, I leaned down and just kissed him, and got a kiss back from my husband who pretended to be asleep the entire time. The only thing that took me by surprise was Kendall sliding his hands to my hips and rolling us over to where he laid on top of me, a smirk across his lips.

“Planning sneak attacks now?” Kendall asked me in a teasing tone, leaning his head down to where our foreheads were touching. I just giggled at him, slowly closing my eyes halfway as he moved his face closer to mine, our noses now touching. “Happy anniversary.” He said to me in a soft voice, leaning down the rest of the way and kissed me again.

~~Kendall’s View~~

Who would have ever thought a year could pass by so quickly? Three hundred sixty-five days,   eight thousand seven hundred sixty hours gone just like that. It was only three years ago that Harmony was meeting me backstage at a Big Time Rush concert for her little sister’s birthday. I remember how excited and bouncy her sister was, and remember just as clearly how unamused Harmony was to be backstage and meeting the four guys she hated the most. Now look at it—we’re the four guys she loves the most! Oh, how the tables can turn so quickly!

I’m amazed our dating went so smoothly. I expected her to break up with me within a month of dating, or for my fans to tear whatever girlfriend I got up just because Logan and I have been the single ones for the longest time. And, of course, there were the Kogan shippers who were upset to see my short-term mystery relationship wasn’t with Logan, but they were just happy to see me happy. Don’t get me wrong—fans hate Harmony, while others adore her. But now an entire year of marriage has passed by us.

It was an entire year full of laughter, smiles, and nothing but good times. Our relationship has been fun and teaseful, just me and her. Which, now that a year has passed… It makes me wonder if we will ever have a little us running around, or maybe even a few little us running around, tripping over their tiny feet and just being imaginative little children.

“Kendaaaalll…” Harmony whined in the seat next to mine, taking me out of my thoughts. I glanced over at my wife before looking back ahead of myself, being sure to keep in my lane and not drive out of it and into somebody, or something.

“What is it, sweetie?” I asked her, a faint smile across my lips.

“Are we almost there yet?” She just asked in reply. Again, I quickly glanced over at her before looking ahead again.

            “Almost.” I simply replied.

“Well, where are we going that is taking so long to get to?”

“It’s a wait and see. Just be patient.” I glanced at her from the corner of my eyes as I said, then looked ahead once again. She gave me a joking annoyed groan while leaning back in her seat, looking out the car window. It left me with a smile. I did this to her the night I proposed to her, and I just wanted to relive that moment. I planned to tease her, to make her wait longer than she wanted to. I planned to just take her up to that same beach, and watch the stars with her tonight. Every anniversary we will share, I want to surprise her by reliving some of our best moments, or her favorite memories we shared together.

“You’re so evil when you tease…” She just grumbled, but I could hear the joking in her voice. And so, I didn’t really say anything in reply to her. I just smirked and continued to look ahead while I drove.

Around an hour later, we arrived at the beach. As I put the car in park and turned it off, Harmony turned around a bit in her seat and looked at me.

“Are we finally there?” She just asked with anticipation in her voice. I smiled widely at her and nodded.

“Yup.” I just said, getting out of the car. I jogged over to her side and opened the door for her, saying jokingly “M’lady.” As I held a hand out for her. Harmony just giggled and took my hand, a faint blush being across her cheeks and nose as I pulled her up and out of the car, closing the door after her. She was just so adorable in a way I couldn’t quite explain. It was like explaining how a crush makes you feel---It is nearly impossible because there are so many mixed emotions in a positive way.

Our evening—or more like night—was spent just walking on the shore line barefoot, hand in hand as we felt the water occasionally touch our feet as it met the sand. We talked and laughed, just reminiscing on the past, but not just our past together. Yes, even now, Harmony and I still exchange embarrassing stories of our childhood to bring a smile on each other’s faces. We joked around, and we teased; just spending the night in complete happiness and in memories.

After our while walk, we went back to the car and lay on the hood of it with our backs up against the windshield, looking up at the stars. I pointed out one of the very few constellations I knew, and tried to guess the others as I could see them, but not entirely. The night was perfect and wonderful in all the right ways, just like I planned for it to be.

“Kendall?” I heard Harmony ask beside me after we have been sitting in silence for a while. I turned my head slightly, looking at the girl who had her head on my shoulder, rather close to my chest, and was looking up at me with her eyes.

“Hm?” I just asked her, twisting the end of her hair around my fingers and slightly played around with it. Although she gave me a smile, Harmony hesitated a bit and just shyly said,

“In the past, we talked about how we wanted children. But when do you want one? I mean, it’s been a year and… Maybe we’ll be ready soon.” I smiled widely at her and just said,

“Whenever you’re ready. We can plan it out whenever you want, that way we know we’re both ready.”

“So, you want one now?” She just asked, a bit of a hopeful look across her face. Without replying to her, I leaned down and kissed her softly, murmuring into her lips,

            “Let’s head home.”
