Lightning strikes and thunder quakes. I roam the streets of Georgetown, South Carolina searching for some type of trouble to cause, but no one is out due to the intense storm my father created. I have been walking around the streets for what seems like hours, but it has only been a couple of minutes.

"Fucking Hell! There's never anything to do in this weather. Why would he do this if I can't have any fun with it?" I thought.

As I cross the street, I feel a jolt of electricity shoot through my body and then I hear a faint crying sound. I stop in the middle of the street just listening. The cries seem to be that of a child. No, not a child, more like the cry of an infant. As soon as I determine where the cries are coming from, I walk in that direction.

Five minutes later, I am standing in front of the entrance of the Georgetown Memory Hospital. I can still hear the cries. Whoever it is has yet to stop, and it really annoys me that no one has shut it up yet. I follow the cries and I am led to the maternity ward. As I look around, I realize no one is there, not one single nurse. "What a grand hospital we have here. Fucking waste of space," I mutter under my breath.

I try to keep as quiet as possible knowing that if some random person sees me, they will freak out and call the authorities. It's not like the police would be able to arrest me, but I don't have time to deal with that tonight. I just want to know who this child is and why its cries caught my attention. Finally, after another turn, I see the nursery. The crying has stopped but it still sniffles.

I slowly walk into the room and stop in front of the basinet in which the sniffling is coming from. When I look down, I feel the same electric shock as earlier when she began to cry. She. She was absolutely gorgeous. I must know her name so I search for her chart. I find it on the stand a few feet away and flip the front cover over. Her name jumps out at me. It's the most beautiful name. I put the chart down and walk back to her squirming little body.

"Keegan Alexandria Harrison. What a beautiful name for a beautiful baby," I whisper to her.

As the words leave my mouth, her eyes fly open. I gasp in shock. I don't know what to do so I just stand there and watch her. She breathes in and out, and her heart beats slow and strong. I am completely mesmerized by her; I don't even realize I'm leaning over the basinet to get closer to her. My breath hitches as she reaches her tiny hand out and grabs my shirt. I pull back slightly, but she grips my thumb instead. When she grips it, my body begins to tingle and radiate heat.

"What are you doing to me sweetie? Hmm?" I ask quietly.

She just stares at me with a small smile gracing her rosy lips. In that moment, I know what I have to do. I feel it at my very core. My father told me this day would come, and here it is, yelling at me to do something.

I softly pull her hand off of my thumb and stroke her cheek. She nuzzles her face into my palm and I smile. I never smile unless I'm causing pain. She's doing something to me, and she was only born a few short hours ago.

"My dear Keegan, you are the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on. From this day forward, you will be mine and mine only. No other man will touch you. No other man will make you feel the way I will. Alcohol will not affect you unless I am in the room. You will never have to be scared because I will always protect you," I whisper into her ear. She squirms and whimpers as my hand clasps her bicep.

I look down and smirk as the Crest of Lucifer burns into her skin. She begins to cry as it burns, and I quickly shush her and sing her a short lullaby. She soon drifts off to sleep, and I see that the crest has disappeared. Perfect. No human will know I have been here.

"Until next time my love. Sleep tight," I murmur as the flames of hell consume my body. I only see her face as I close my eyes and return home.
