Ty jumped out of the way as a squid warrior lunged at him, he quickly turned and sliced it in half with ease before turning to deal with the next one.

They were in between a battle in a big mountain side cave, this happened a lot and both sides happened to be exploring the same cave at the same time.

Ty was in an upper level fighting all the squids that tried to sneak up behind the group.

Suddenly a squid tackled him from behind while he cut off the squids in front of hims arm. He screamed as he was taken down.

"GET OFF" he yelled struggling and managing to kick the squid off as he whipped around and cut its head off before hearing someone shout.

"RETREAT SQUIDS, RETREAT!"

Ty turned to see the Squid king and the squids flee the center of the cave area.

Suddenly he felt grabbed as he dropped his sword and gasped.

"HEY!" He yelled as something held his arms in place from behind as a squid came up and started to wrap a rope around him to keep him in place as the one Squid warrior behind him held him steady as the one infront of him grabbed his sword.

"LET ME- MFF" his mouth as covered by a slimy tentacle as he struggled to get free.

"YOU MAY HAVE ONE THIS TIME SKY!" The squid king shouted holding his bleeding side.

"BUT THE HEART OF THE ONE YOU LOVE IS MINE NOW!" He cackled and turned to where Ty was struggling as the squid king faced where they were.

"KILL HIM AND BRING HIS HEART TO ME!"

"NO!"

Ty screamed in agony as his own sword blade ripped threw his stomach and blood splattered on the cave floor.

The squid raised the sword again to cut off his head before an arrow shot straight threw him and he dropped to the floor dead.

The squid behind him panicked and dropped Ty's body on the floor as he laid there, with rope burns and cuts.

Sky suddenly came charging up the to the top ledge of the cave and ran up to Ty, kneeling and placing him onto his lap as Ty gasped for breath.

"H-Hurts....." he croaked out trying to grab at Skys chest. "H-Hurts....."

"I know, I know it's gonna be ok" Sky whispered tears going down his face as he had his sun glasses on. Sky held him closer, pulling his head to his chest.

"Nicks on his way, it's gonna be ok, ok? Just stay with me Ty-Dye...." Sky whispered as Ty felt tears going down his face.

He always used that nickname when he was serious, it broke Ty's heart just hearing him say it.

Ty lifted up a hand slowly to rest it on his cheek as he gave him a sad smile.

"I-I love y-you......" he whispered as Sky lifted his hand to touch Ty's one on his cheek.

"I love you too Ty-Dye" he whispered back as he heard running footsteps.

"I'm here!" The Healer, Nick ,called running up to them and kneeling down.

Ty slowly faded as he slipped into darkness as he felt taken away from Sky's grip and his hand dropping...

Ty slowly started to wake ups as he heard talking.

"Will he be ok?"

"Yes, he's just resting as of now, the squid who cut him didn't cut deep and if Danger hadn't shot the squid, his head would have been the Squids Kings"

"I'm done with my duties but could I....?"

"Of course Sky, go ahead"

"Thank you Nick, Reds at his post"

"Anything and if you need me I'll be teasing Red"

Ty then heard them both laugh before the door opened and closed as footsteps leading away disappeared.

Suddenly the bed he was in dipped as someone laid down next to him and brought him into there arms. Ty stayed still as the figure petted his hair and slowly Ty fell back to sleep....

Ty slowly began to wake up again as his eyes opened this time.

He was in a dark room with moonlight coming threw the window, it looked like his own room, what was he doing there?

Blinking the sleep out of his eyes he slowly got up and looked around. He was alone in his room.

Frowning to himself Ty was about to get out of bed when a pain went threw his stomach causing him to his in pain. Looking down he pulled up his shirt to find that he had a bandage around his stomach.

Ty sighed and got up, limping over to his door and opening it as he looked around the silent halls. After finding the cost was clear he limped down the hall and softly opened a door at the end of it and peeked in.

He was in another bedroom but this one was bigger and more fancier.

"S-Sky...?" He croaked as he ignored the pain in his stomach and spotted a sleeping figure in the big bed. Slowly moving over Ty crawled over to the sleeping figure and sat on his knees.

"S-Sky....." he said tearing up as he shook him awake slowly since he was still weak from the blow and restless sleep.

Sky groaned in response as he was mumbling things under his breath like he was having a dream, Ty sighed softly and tried again.

Suddenly Sky jolted awake and groaned as he sat up. Not noticing Ty.

"S-Sky......" Ty whispered as Sky jumped and looked at Ty.

"Tye-dye? What are you doing out of bed? Your going to hurt yourself" Sky said calmly as he looked at Ty with worry as Ty sniffed.

"I-I'm scared....." he said quietly as Skys heart broke and he took Ty in his arms.

"There's no need to be scared, I'm right here... I-I'll protect you.... I promise this time" Skys voice cracked as Ty looked up and kissed him softly before pulling away and cupping his cheeks.

"It's not your fault... I-I love you Sky" Ty whispered with a sad smiled as Sky smiled back.

"I love you so much Ty-Dye" Sky replied as he slowly moved back down on the bed with Ty in his arms as Ty snuggled into his chest and there hands intertwined and Sky used his free hand to hold Ty in his chest and he placed his head in Tys hair.

"Good night my love" he whispered as Ty smiled and felt safe in his arms.

"Good night"
