Chapter Five: Understanding Guilds

**Jady’s POV**

    I walked to school with Danna. She is really nice and kind I don’t see why there is no one else who walks with her. When we arrived at school are first class was Guild Information. “Today we are gonna be learning about the different types of guilds” said the woman, “We have a new student” “Out of us there are 10 the same as always” said one of the other kids. “Apparently you didn’t see the girl standing at the back of the room hiding right in front of the door” the teacher said. “H-hi” I said very quietly as I walked to the teacher with my head down. “What’s your name?” She asked me. “Umm my na-name….” I started but was interrupted by a boy saying, “Does she know her name or how to stop stuttering?” “BE NICE!!” Harvey yelled as he punched this kid square in the face. “Please ignore them and if you want just tell me and we can try to tell the others tomorrow.” She said so polite. Zir flew in and landed on my tiny shoulder, “How is your first day of school?” She asked. Yea my exceed is a girl named Zir. “So far pretty out of control” I responded. “Umm if you want you cat can stay with you?” The teacher asked. “That would be awesome” I smiled. My exceed knows that every two years I age one year, but no one else knows. “Since you don’t know my name, I am Mrs. Sarah or Mrs. Leeann.” Mrs. Sarah told me. “I’m Jac--I mean Jady” I said trying not to frown. “Do you have a last name?” She asked. “Yes actually it is now Zera” I smiled.

**Mrs. Sarah’s POV**

She seemed very different compared to the others, but I hope she will fit in. “Let us begin the lesson” I pointed at a poster that said ‘Guilds considered good’, “The guilds that help people and use magic for good are considered the “good” guilds.” I continued even though Seth fell asleep, “Bad guilds are considered to be guilds like us. They want to live by their rules and no one to get in their way.”

**Harvey’s POV**

Jady followed me around the whole day. Eventually, after eight hours it was time to go. “Where to next?” She asked a little confused. “The guild or home or on a job” I responded. “I think I am going on my first job by myself” She said then walked to the board.
