"Death is the only truth in life-and by existential belief, death is the only right we as humans have."
Oliver heard him speak from outside the class, his light Italian accent fusing with his English. She didn't know the professor was Italian.

Part of her was happy, she had always had a sweet spot for Italian men.

She was extremely nervous at the sound of his voice, for reasons, Oliver herself, couldn't explain. Other than the obvious reasons like: She woke up late. For the first time all year, she showed up late, to, of course, her first philosophy discourse.

She assumed the teacher already expected a lot of disrespect since it seemed no one thought philosophy to be a credible life goal. Unfortunately, her feelings were quite the opposite, so showing up late was the last thing she had hoped for.

She breathed in again and felt the pull to hurry up and get into class. Her excitement to get to this class was surprising herself.

He smelled it then. Right outside the door. A light coconut aroma with a hint of spice that had his groin fidgeted.
It was mouth watering and he wondered briefly what he looked like to everyone else.
He also wondered painfully why it was stagnant; the smell. Just sitting outside. What were they waiting for? He ached to just walk over to the door and taste whatever awaited him.
He hoped the delicious scent wouldn't walk away-
Oliver opened the door and quickly headed to the back with her head down, climbing the stairs until she reached the last row.
She found an end seat and got out her laptop and textbook (yes, philosophy had a text book).
Once she was settled in and more reassured that no one was looking she looked up....froze.

He continued to talk and his words were like silk. She could hear his voice so much clearer now and it was enchanting. The subtle dance of his tongue was like a seduction.

He was tall, dark, and a little too handsome. His eyes were a light green tinted hazel and his hair came down to his chin in dark brown waves that even made her jealous. Despite the beautiful features he was gruff and roughed up. A scar cut across the side of his top lip and despite its usual unappealing stereotype, it had Oliver's stomach heating.
'Why did no one say the professor was so fucking-ugh!' She thought. She looked at the other student angled in front of her and noticed they all too seemed to be surprised. Not a single phone on and not a single pair of closed eyes. Everyone had their attention and fantasy on him.

Oliver felt a weird since of anger at that observation.

She really wanted to learn something in this class. She had been looking forward to it all first semester and now it would be ripped away by a pretty face.
'A sexy ass face.'
'An insanely delici-'
She shook her head and tried her best to focus on the lecture at hand.
She knew she wouldn't get far. As soon as her eyes landed on him, he captured her and forced her to take a visual tour of his body. He was tan, tall, and muscular in all the right places( if ya catch the drift)

'What was he even talking about?'
"Love, hate, lust."
Oliver looked back up to his eyes and saw him boring into her. A heated intensity that left her gasping for only a brief few seconds.
She questioned if it was just her and her own Obsession. Oliver looked around-yep it seemed She was alone in her delusions.

Gio had to keep talking. Teaching philosophy was almost second nature to him.
'Third nature, but whose counting?' He thought cynically.
He wanted nothing more in those moments to rush up the stairs and take the fragile angel.

She rushed in his class with subtle grace and much anxiety rolling off her shoulders. He tried to make his glances brief but he was growing frustrated. All he saw was her brown bouncy curls covering her face. She had milk chocolate skin with a pinch of creamer. Just the delicious tone of her skin made his mind and body get ahead of him.

Her hair was cropped short at her chin which gave her a younger appeal, but something told Gio by the way she walked that she was older than she looked.

Something he was more than familiar with.
He glanced once. Twice. Too many times to count in the course of five minutes.
He never saw her face, but through her hair he saw parts of her eyes. Never looking into his own, but rather taking a deep fascination with his body. The thought that she wanted him as abruptly and intensely as he wanted her made him want to howl in pleasure.

"Love, Hate, lust." Gio put extra emphasis on the last, pushing his emotions at her like somehow she'd be able to feel it.
...but she did. The curls fell away.
Her eyes caught his and for three seconds he fell silent and he heard nothing but the sound of a heart beat. Hers? His? Did it matter?

Brown chocolate eyes that bore out like a deer. Full curvy lips that made his fantasies kick off in a dark obsession. Dark, subtle freckles trailing her nose and cheeks.

'Bellissima' he thought. He forced his eyes away and picked up where he left off.
He had 35 more minutes left of this shit. Until he could get her alone. Until he could set the beast free. The beast within him was always being forced down, only to be set free when harming innocents was out of question. But he would let him out with her. His beast would never hurt her. A beast could never hurt his Belle.
