Father

(6 years ago) "Daddy you're home, now we can go to the park." My dad hugged me tight and kissed my forehead. "Let's go babygirl" . Dad was the sweetest and kindest person i have ever met , he was always there for me and mom when we needed somebody. Icecream, movies, even school concerts, he was always there .
When one day something awful happened.
Sunday afternoon on the 15th February 2012
"Ring," y/n can you see whose at the door. I was reading a book when I heard the door bell rang. I ran downstairs and open the door when I looked surprised. " Mom , uncle Kim nam is here." He is a police officer that works around our area. "Hi little y/n can you go upstairs for a little while I need to talk to your mother" he gives me a bag of jellybeans and I left . Eating and watching tv, I heard mom was crying, I started to get worried and I rush downstairs
Then I saw my mother, on the floor , tearing up, I ran to her "mama what's wrong, why are you crying?" She grabbed me and hugged me in her arms . We will be fine I promise.
Days passed by , months , no sign of dad . He never came back home or called. "Mom it's been a year and no sign of dad, what are you hiding from me?" She hold my hand and said these words "he is home, not here but home" she smiled at me and walked away.
If he was at home why can't I see him?
I didn't talk to anybody for months , I was sad and angry at the same time
"My dad left us" that's what I thought.

(Back to the present)
I was standing there in a shocked way, I couldn't move , my dad , the one I haven't seen in years , is right in front of me. I don't know what to do, be happy that he is alive and okay or be angry, that he left me and mom alone?
" y/n , my beautiful daughter, my child, my sweetheart y/n"
Tears were coming out his eyes while walking towards me
I wanted to step back but I couldn't
He hugged me tight "my daughter is finally back" I pat his back and try to break the hug
"Dad , you, here, sigh I really don't know what to say ," "please y/n , sit down , we need to talk "
I followed him to the couch in the living room and sat down "now will you please explain to me what the hell is happening ? Why am I here? How did I end up here and mostly why did you leave us?
I saw the look in my dad eyes, it was depression and sadness
'DARKNESS'
It was like he was trapped, I can't say but he look really sick.
"Y/n , I didn't do it on purpose " I could see his eyes full with sadness, I moved closer to him "take your time and tell me daddy"
"Your mother and I love eachother so much , that we can't live without eachother, I did something terrible, something that was worst than death.
Dad was scaring me , I want him to stop talking but I need to know the truth so I kept quiet and listen .
"We were on budget, we couldn't even afford to pay the bills, I lost my job and your mom's flower shop was losing customers
We didn't know what to do
I was angry and sad so I went for a walk when I saw a store that said 'fortune teller' I don't know what went through my mind but I entered.
I sat on the chair while there was a man opposite me
He started to read my mind
He knew everything, the money, us.
"The only reason you can stop this disaster is if you live in a new world"
I was surprised " new world?"
"Yes, you will become the king in this new world and rule the kingdom
You will be one of the richest person that ever existed. So what you say?"
"But , my family, what about them?"
He looked at me and smiled " you will have to leave them, when you enter the world, the problems your family is facing will go away" I stopped and think
I can't leave my wife and child alone
But they need to survive properly
"I will do it. I accept the deal"
So I went and I told your uncle to tell Suzy that I got a job far away and I cannot return"
Dad sat there quietly for a minute
"He did it, for us, no wonder we had a lot of money, he was taking care of us even though he was far away"
I wiped his tears away and hugged him "you're the best father and I love you"
He smiled and hugged back "I'm happy again, I'm finally happy "
Then it hit me, the necklace, the book, this place. "But dad where am I?"
He stand up and hold my hand "this is not like back home , this is a fantasy world" I pulled away with a curious expression on my face. "Did you say fa.....fan... wooo...FANTASY?"
He laughed and nodded " yes like those books you use to read

Those creatures "
I couldn't move a bone in my body.
"Those exist? They actually exist? Can this day get anymore weird?"
Dad turned to my blank expression face "One more thing I have to tell you, see that necklace you're wearing , it's magical , that necklace brought you here , to my kingdom "
I looked at dad and look down at the necklace, so you're the one that was showing me clues about the basement all these years ? Dad I thought it was some ghost you scared me! 
He giggled "yes that's me, but the necklace is really important, your mom hid it away because you was really young," and that's when I realized why mom didn't want me to go in the basement, she knew all along .
"I don't blame mom for not telling me this but what's the necklace about really and the book?"
His face turned pale , he sat down for a while "the deal that made me become a king, one of the reasons was that when you're 19, you will have to come here and break the curse.
I didn't want to hear anything else
I ran outside as fast as I can , I could hear dad calling my name over and over but I didn't stop
I ran far into the woods, I have no idea where I was going .
I ran and ran until something tripped me over. I was about to fall , when I felt a hand grabbed my waist and pulled me towards them, I closed my eyes , feeling my body on someone else
We stopped, I tried to breathe back normal so I did that and I opened my eyes .
